clay is not very good. if south webster was in the small division they might be playing for a league championship.

acm
I just posted the schools by wins only, not by seeding or anything else.
Also, Clay is (5-11) after tonight.
Remaining games per website:
2/10-Notre Dame
2/13-@New Boston
2/20-Western
2/21-East

I have a feeling Coach Harrop at Western doesnt want to play South Webster as opposed to any of the others on this list.

Given Webster's wins over East and Clay on the road, I think they have made a solid statement about how decent they'd be if playing a SOC I schedule. Again...Manchester or Western would much rather be playing someone else in the Sectional final than Webster or Paint Valley.*

South Webster is a HUGE sleeper in this tourney. Their record is decieving since they play a tougher schedule. I hope the rest of the teams take them lightly.
By the way, when did Manchester drop to Div. IV? I thought they were always a Div. III school. Or did they just enter our sectional recently?

Manchester has been in the Valley sectional for a few years now. Going to be interesting to see how the seeds come out, especially with the big win East had friday over Eastern and a couple close games that should have been blow outs by other teams.

1. Western plays winner of....8. Clay vs 9. Paint Valley

2. Manchester plays winner of.....7. South Webster vs 10. Green

3. East plays winner of......6. Notre Dame vs 11. New Boston

4. Fairfield vs 5. Whiteoak

It was all politics today every SOC school is afraid to play someone from the SHL and Western was just afraid to play Oak Hill. The best 3 teams in this Sectional are Manchester, Fairfield, and Whiteoak and Fairfield and Whiteoak got the shaft cause they have to play each other for the Sectional Championship.

Stop complaining about it. It is what it is, just show up and beat the team you play. Were you there? Do you know what it was like? Probably not, you are just upset because your Hounds didn't get the seed you wanted them to get.

Looks like SOC I was the biggest winner in these seeds. Notre Dame as the 6th seed?? WOW! I seriously believe East will have an easier path to Districts than Western or Manchester.*

sparky has been there and he called it perfectly

Not only do the SOC school play at nearby Valley....they get the seeds they want nearly every year.

Here are the District brackets with times and locales.
http://www.seodab.org/brackets/2009/boysbb/div4.htm

Very interesting District match ups if seeds hold led by the Pike County battle. The lower bracket is wide open with Oak Hill the overwhelming favorite in the upper bracket.

Upper Bracket
Oak Hill vs. Leesburg-Fairfield
Manchester vs. Waterford
Winners play in District Championship

Lower Bracket
Western Pike vs Eastern Pike
Racine Southern vs Sciotoville East
Winners play in District Championship

Well it looks like to me that the SHL teams got the shaft but right or wrong it is what it is and now its time for teams to play ball
Good luck to all teams

Completely agree! Paint Valley will win their game and could give Western a tough game. East is the one who really came out smelling like roses. What a gift-wrapped trip to District.
