No doubt about that, they get punished this week. Unless Coldwater has 8 unforced fumbles in first half. Well even with that they sill win Big.

Another True statement.....
Re: Is Portsmouth really dropping Burg?
Yes, for 2017 season Portsmouth dropped Wheelersburg for River Valley. PHS wants nothing to do with Wheelersburg b/c( according to my Portsmouth sources,) PHS admin is upset with W'burg for recruiting their QB and moving him into W'burg right before the start of the school year.
I just went 85 yards straight thru the heart of the south- Ezekiel Elliott 1/1/15

They were trying to get out of it long before that.85yards wrote:Yes, for 2017 season Portsmouth dropped Wheelersburg for River Valley. River valley lol....you go P-town.
Wouldn't it be fantastic to see Burg beat the brakes off them Trojans in the playoffs lol would be hilarious. Doubt P-town makes it to playoffs tho.....but?

Please remember that pride goeth before a fall! Burg fans, remember at one time Ironton ruled the roost in SEO, winning state titles and dominating the area, and we still see some of their fans having a hard time with the average product they have been producing lately. One day the Burg will be in this same position, so please try and be a little humble!

Re: Is Portsmouth really dropping Burg?
First of all even when Ironton ruled...Burg held their own and have a great history and tradition of football in Wheelersburg. One day Burg will suck and Minford will be king.....gotcha stay humble
GO BURG!
GO BURG!

I would expect more of this the way the Wheelersburg fanbase disrespects the other local schools. Everyone should just refuse to play them. Give them what they want. Let them travel to Columbus and get thumped by Watterson and such 5 or 6 times a year. Then we'll see how much smack they talk.
Re: Is Portsmouth really dropping Burg?
If Portsmouth were in the SOC, where they should be, this would be a non issue. Frankly, I'm glad they are in the OVC.

We feel personally responsible for their playoff struggles the last few years. It's been nearly impossible to sleep knowing that if we had given them more competition they might have played better.
Re: Is Portsmouth really dropping Burg?
I FEEL THE SAME WAY, Maybe PHS can pick up Green, N West, Manchester or N DAME , No N Dame would beat them . East instead .
