Burg has played Adena once, UP THERE and Adena thought they got homered on their home field. I remember there coaches ripping the refs at the half and after the game. I thought that was funny that they thought they got homered on their home turf.

1984 Wheelersburg Football Schedule

Zane Trace W 26 - 21
i was there ;-)

I was too. Now that you posted the score, I remeber it went right down to the wire.

Has anyone seen the new player for the Burg, Bill Brasky,jr? Kid is an absolute beast. If he is anything like his old man, than WOW!!!! Watch out.

I'd heard Mad Dogg was asking about the Brasky kid. If he's anything like his old man he'll be beast.

Of course, his old man always did his best work when the games were live on saturday night and the Burg plays on Fridays so I don't know if that will affect his performance.

I heard the Brasky kid didn't want any turf. He said turf was for sissies and if they put down turf he would eat his way through it back to good ole Mother Earth.

His old man was one tough S.O.B. and I guess his kid is just like him.

I saw the Brasky kid the other day and man is he a beast. What is he, a Sophomore or a Junior? I say he will be the best TE and LB to ever put on a Burg uni. Man-child and he's only 15-16 years old.

They say he is even just as good at basketball. Can jump up and do 360 dunk standing flat footed under the basket.

I saw his old man once catch two rattlesnakes, tie them together and wear them for a belt, WHILE THEY WERE STILL ALIVE. If they tried to bite him he would just smack them on top of the head.

I thought the Brasky kid was only in the 8th grade. I also heard that he was benching 600lbs during summer weights.

I have watched the burg play for several years now. It seems to me that for the last
couple of years their schedule has been lacking the strength it once had. The non-conference games were much stronger under Coach Lewis. Besides Ironton the rest
of the non league games are just average opponents. In the playoff picture this hurts
our pirates. Calpreps predicts 7-3 not great for that schedule.
