South Point @ Chesapeake 1/13

This will be another barn burner like the SP/Fair. game. IF the SP big men can use their size I look for the Pointers to win. If Peake cans stop the Pointers from getting the ball past half court I look for the Peake to win. Either way it will be really close!

SP will have to shut down Webb who is really burning the nets up and Peake will have to contend with the Pointers big guys underneath. Not an easy task for either side. Should be another great game. Good luck all around.

i really dont like either team but ill say Peake by 8.

Im lookin for this game to be a good one no doubt. After a W against Coal Grove, Chesapeake will be going into this game with momentum. But with the tough OT loss to the Dragons the Pointers will be looking to bounce back. I think that the Pointers big men down low are just to powerfull for Chesapeake. With guys like Drew Lynd who will be back for this game, Cody Taylor, Ethan Prater, and Greg Taylor. That in my openion is just to much power for the Panthers to handle but Chesapeake has some good shooters like Copley who had 30+ in a game against Huntington High.

This should be a great game but I say Pointers by 8 only cause of the big men down low. Also looking forward for Kratzenburg to have another great game.

South Point really doesnt play defense, Hatfield got any look he wanted they just didnt fall early but the started to eventually, point cant press either fairland broke every press sp had with one ball handler,
there not good defensivly, so sp better be on fire on the offensive saide of the ball or this one could get ugly.

and if the peake has the same refs they had against ironton peake will for sure come out on top lol.

well we can see the dragon fans on here but it don't matter the pointers are a better team the fairland an got best in OT now with drew commin back for this game I look for the leadership they may have missed also the aggressiveness an of the big men get some playin time together I see the pointers commin out on top

sp is not that great of a team, and for sure not better than the dragons. sp got hot early and fairland got hot late and when it mattered. sp has one ball handler on there entire team. if anyone else broght the ball down the court the dragons stole it.
and i do believe the dragons have 5 or 6 guys that can handle the ball without it being taken away lol.
hate to say it but go peake!! lol

south point played horrible in the first half trailing by 16 at half.Pointers played alot better in the second half and those refs were terrible in the second half.jl724 i think we had the refs you are talking about i mean copley elbowed drew lynd in the mouth and of course nothing was called this is just one of the bad calls in this game.I am not one to blame the refs but you have to start and think something was going on if you were at the game and the peake fans can prolly agreeif they dont then there is something wrong with them.

i went to the cpeake ironton game bc fhs was at tosia
and that lucas morris kid got elbowed in the head n split his head open and they called nothing, they didnt even stop play till like 45 seconds after he was bleeding.

yeah same thing last night except for the blood they did not stop play untill south point bench and coach went crazy then they stoped the play.

im just glad we got peake at fairland friday, i look for us to come out and play hard.
we need to get a faster start tho, we always get late runs in the ball game , but it would be much easier if we could start out on top lol

If South Point would have showed up in the first half of the game, I dont think it would have been close. The pointers did NOT work the ball down low which they really needed to do. I was told that South Point had 11 charges on them?! Either way it was a great game through the 2nd half with South Point cutting a lead that was at one point 19 to withen 6, but they just ran out of energy. Im sure the Pointers will bounce back though

I'd say that you all are over exaggerating quite a bit..try about 4 or 5 charges..not 11. Blame the sp players for driving in the lane and running over defenders. The refs didn't do that.

i am not saying all the charges were bad calls cause they werent but in the second half jordan fletcher was called for a charge when copley was doing the same thing everytime he took the ball inside.he would jump into the defender and shoot the ball but when fletcher does it is a charge.Gotta call it the same on both sides and no onw would be angry but its over cant change the outcome.BUT they still have to play at our house lets see how that one goes.

Yeah the one charge that was called against Fletcher in the last quarter the kid from the Peake was in the air. How could he have been set? You can not be set with your feet a foot off the ground.

Its always the refs fault when you lose.Thats the problem in America.It doesnt matter where anyone plays Chesapeak-Fairland-Rock Hill- Southpoint they always get bad refs when there on the road.Like my old coach told us you can never let the refs determine the outcome of a game.
