Just my opinion, but it just sounds like a bad soap opera down there. That is a shame.
Carl Wolfe?
Meigs was mediocre during Wolfe's best years. What was his best
year at meigs? I think he was around .500. Wolfe obviously wasn't the answer. Steely Dan, don't try to make Wolfe out to be some coaching legend at Meigs when that clearly was not the case.
Sorry, I was not trying to make him out to be the coaching savior that you thought that I was trying to make him out to be.
Geesh, so he coached .500 ball.... Based on what has happened since he left, he should be considered a coaching legend, perhaps..... A hell of alot less controversy surrounding your boys program with Carl in charge, than the crap that has happened since he turned over the reigns........

As I posted earlier, Wolfe was 25 games UNDER .500 as the boys coach. I don't know too many coaches considered legends for that kind of record.
In fact, Ewing had more wins in his first season at the helm than Wolfe did in his first two season combined.

I heard it was a beatdown. I heard Meigs lost by 20. Not sure the exact score or if it was that bad.

Back to reality. All of you Meigs prepsters who think that I am trying to immortalize Wolfe, you are full of it. Sounds like no one can satisfy your group of parents, or players for that matter.
Who, in their right mind, would want the Meigs Boys Head Coaching job based upon of the crap that has been posted on this thread?
It is no wonder some of your supporters have been so quiet this year, after being so vocal last year. All I see is discontent and discord, throughout this thread, about the state of Meigs basketball. I'm done, as I have nothing to do with your program, nor does my team play you.
Dysfunction Junction, what is your function??????????
You guys see what I just did there????

The Spartans will next be in action next Friday night as they play a huge TVC-OHIO game vs. Vinton County.
