Shouldn't the new coach be able to make that determination?

On 3 different occasions in the last 3 quarters the Cats jumped out to 12, 14, and 12 point leads only to see NB battle back to within 2, 2 and 1. The Cats didn't get too rattled and handled the Tigers pressure well. Both teams struggled from the field and NB couldn't buy a free throw down the stretch. Congrats to Coach Fraley on getting his first varsity win.
Green's JV also won by about 16 or so.
Would it be that the Cats didn't get raddlled to much last night with the pressure that NB applied because of the level of talent they were playing against.I believe the pressure they received from,Notre Dame,Minford,Eastern and St Joe was a little tougher competition than they faced last night.I think one would have to give that statement some thought. This Green situation after reading and talking to some people definitely has my interested as to how people look at success and what is important and what isn't in high school athletics.

Exactly. Pollard would help out alot. Just think about it; Almost all of the games that Green has lost..they've lost by 15-20 points. Pollard averages at least 15 a game. You do the math.
WOW !!! How can one even reply to such a statement.Geez oh pete.Do you really understand what you are saying

I am trying to read these posts and it is totally shocking what and how some people think. Its not a light switch that you just turn on and become better. Its hard work and getting better fundamentally. If you think that a new staff and bringing back players is the answer look at the remaining games on your schedule:western,Symmes Valley,NotreDame which is a possible win maybe and thats a big maybe because they are playing pretty good,Mayebe South Webster seems they are ready to disband out there,Clay,Symmes Valley again,Eastern,East,Peebles Hew Boston which you won't have a prayer on that floor so you could be looking at best and the very best 3-17 which I very much doubt.Which that will probably be better than my West Senators

I am just a little confused. The posts above indicate that no one was allowed to come back and play. If none of the players that quit came back to the teams, then how did they have enough to play JV when their wasn't enough to play against St.Joe and East?

Re: NEW BOSTON @ GREEN
There are 14 total players, all but one dress JV, the freshman get most of the quarters, the others are there if needed. 5 qtrs a nite and 80 per year, they are being counted closely. With 2 games cncelled they should be fine.
It was crazy to cancel the JV season in the first place.

Thanks for the clarification buckeyefan! Knowing the history of Green basketball, I am really glad they won and are back on the right track.

Buckeyefan,Why does everyone on here and especially you from what I have read assume that jumper person is anyone that takes a stand in his favor on the previous Green coach.I can only judge from what I have seen from last year and what I read on this particular topic. I can't understand either how Green is back on the right track to winning when the ye have only beaten a team that had the same record as they did and lost by 21 points tonight It amazes me
Re: NEW BOSTON @ GREEN
Green is back on track because hopefully all of the drama is over, there are JV and varsity games being played with the kids and coaches learning and improving as time goes on,regardless of their number of wins this year.

hoot...............nice statement. If Interested In All was really interested in all, the posts would only be positive and put the past where it belongs.

A_C_M ,If what I said is never done it will never be a positive for anyone at any school when it is an agenda involving only a select few and what they want.

Congratulations to Green on their win.
It was a hard game to watch..... so many mistakes from both teams.. I wish the Cats and Tigers well the rest of the season..
