Saw second half of 7th grade boys at Green, and all of 8th grade boys. Looks to me to be a loooooooooong year for the 8th graders. 7th grade showed me some bright spots, but got lazy here and there. C'mon Panthers! Get it together!

Cowabunga! Something must have happened in practice after the game at Green! Panthers took control early and cruised to the win with Notre Dame. GREAT JOB BOYS!!!

The Clay 8th grade boys try hard, but it is hard when they only have 2 returning players and the rest I believe this is their first year of playing. The 7th grade boys have played together since 3rd grade and played all summer together. The 7th grade team will give any team in SOC a real run for their money. By the time these boys get up in high school and if the high school coach doesn't mess with what isn't broke then I think there will be some titles coming their way. GO PANTHERS!!!

I remember them only having 5 or 6 players last year on what is the 8th grade now. What's the problem, isn't there any other boys who want to play? I think Compton does okay with the kids, he acts like he would be fun to play for.

I believe last year's 7th grade team consisted of 3 8th grade boys. 2 of them had never played basketball before and they had 3 7th grade players of which only 2 returned this year. The two that have stuck it out for these two years are doing it for the love of the game. Aaron Keyser is a good little point guard and Wyatt Large can suprise you with his shooting. This 8th grade group through bitty ball was hard to find a lot of boys that wanted to play. Give them credit they are not giving up or quitters.

That's right, I forgot about that. I have only been to a couple games this year, but might be at East game, if work doesn't keep me away. What's the records for 7th & 8th?
