Re: Minford at Valley
Congrats to the Indians on the big win. I picked them in the Pickems because I just had a feeling they were going to play well tonight at home and they didn't let me down. That was a great game to listen to on the radio.
Re: Minford at Valley
Game of the year candidate in my book. If you like offense, come watch the rematch later this year. Great game! Congrats to Valley. Let's get them next time Falcons.
Re: Minford at Valley
Great job Indians!! That was an awesome game. This whole conference just keeps putting out games like this all year. Definitely one of the best horse races in SOC 2 history. I've never seen more teams with a chance to win this thing. Keep fightin' Valley. Can't wait until the Northwest game Tuesday.
Re: Minford at Valley
1st half was all about scoring and it was the most enjoyable game to listen to on the radio so far this year. Then they both found a defence in the 2nd half to make the game more enjoyable by keeping it close till the end. Great job by Snuffy smith and his cohort! Like listening to a football game! Great job by two very well coached teams and players that left it on the court!!!! You could hear the crowds for both teams in the background just having a great time, pins and needles.

what a game, valleys coach kept the pace up tempo minford seem to loose there legs midway in the 4th. minford did not sub and you could tell. oesch was not in the game the whole 4th qt . and slone never seen the court all night. well slone did play 20 sec.. alot of fans were saying why not put your fastest on the floor with the pace valley was playing. the one player for minford had knee brace on could not keep up . he gave 100% but his legs are not there yet .. great game by both teams.. minford remember this SUB SUB SUB....

Re: Minford at Valley
Great game and great atmosphere. Valley's coach may be next to Barrick in coaching ability. He is winning with less talent than Waverly, Burg. Oak Hill or Minford. Minford's team played har but yet again could not finish. I agree with the bench use by Minford's coach. Valley wore the Falcon's out in the second half and he had two of his best three athelte's and fastest guys on the bench. Also in the games we have lost in the 4th quarter we can not seem to ge the ball to our best shooter. Granted he is picked up pretty quick but use some screens don't panic. I think Minford will beat Valley and Waverly at hime but Burg and Oak Hill on the road will be tough. Can't let down on anything. Barrick has proven once again he is the best coach around. How about all of the Valley poster's so critical of thei coach preseason? It looks like he may have had some idea what he is doing.
Re: Minford at Valley
When Valley went up 10, I thought they put it away, and after that kid from Minford threw up the 3 that looked like it was going to go over the backboard somehow bounced in, Minford went on that little run, and it was good to see the Indians finish.
As far as critical of the coach, not this guy. I was a huge fan of getting the last guy OUT, because I did not think Scott Lowe should have ever been fired, but thats another topic. I'm glad to see Coach V getting the kinds to buy into the system, it will pay off down the road.
