Athens won this game 67-65. Broke a 65-65 with 10 seconds remaining, then Jackson missed a three-pointer from the right corner at the buzzer.

Not sure where they are from. I've seen them quite a few times. They didn't call much early on and Coach Jordan told them they are going to cause a very physical game.....then later on in the game it got too rough. The one ref seemed furious about a very physical loose ball tie up.....but IMO he was part of the problem as he called nothing early.

They did not decide the game...but watching the next game you really had to appreciate those 3 guys.

No clue on the Refs names but they were bad for both teams.

And Coach Jordan did not help by walking clear acrossed the court to confront one of the officials. Should have been T'd and tossed.

Southern ohio officiating is poor. Most are out of shape and can't get into position for the call, poor mechanics. Absolutley no conisistency from one game to another. Ask each ref what the OHSSA rule of emphasis for this year are and they will all tell you something different which shouldn't happen. Refs need to be evaluated and held more accountable. OHSSA just says don't hire them, but I guarantee you will see them on the road somewhere and they will really let you have it. Again I don't think ref's cause teams to lose games, but I do think they let games get out of control, and injuries, and fights bad blood between team etc... are ref's fault.

Why are you calling it OHSSA? It's OHSAA. Maybe you should be evaluated.. lol

I just watched this game on Nelsonville TV and as far as the refs go all I can say is OH MY. Jackson's coach game out on the floor during a time out. He went from his bench clear down to the other end of the floor past the foul line yelling at an official the other official pointed for him to go back to the bench. He went three quarters of the way down the floor after the official, NO - T. Then later in the game the Athens coach crossed mid court after an official and NO - T. It was interesting to watch.

I think I speak for all of the Bulldog community when I say that we would love to see Jackson and their coach in the post-season.

Coach Jordan was trying to get T'd up and they wouldn't do it.

and I guarantee I speak for all of the Jackson community when I say we'd love to face Athens in the tournament.

Jackson isn't the greatest team in the world...but don't you think those kids believe they have a good shot vs Athens?

Of course Athens wants to play Jackson....they are like 2-8....duh

It's takes a a pretty short yet realistic stretch to believe Jackson could beat Athens.
