Actually 93Bulldog....This sectional is not at Wellston this year. It is back at Logan in the new gym.

The teams are correct here, just that they are at Logan as opposed to Wellston.

Thanks for the breakdown, Bulldog. This should give everyone a good idea of their seed.

I'd switch Oak Hill and Southern....if not for anything but the win at Burg

I'm not sure a win over Federal Hocking or Athens is considered a BIG win but the draw will be political as it
always is. The league with the most teams in the draw will get who they want were. It's been that way forever.

Agreed. Oak Hill is dfinately the #1. Southern is good, and their record wil get them the #2(although their schedule is weak). However, from #3 down there is alot of debate. I still say that if strength of schedule is considered, then Trimble and Waterford may not be seeded bove Eastern Pike. I doubt none of these schools, other than Oak Hill, would be better than 6-4 if they had played Easterns schedule thus far.

When did they switch the Wellston sectionlal back to Logan?

I know Logan has a new gym, but Wellston was perfect for GAHS traveling wise.

Gallipolis could now make three trips to Logan within two or three weeks--the regular season game on Feb. 6, a possible DOC game on Feb.21, and a sectional game later in February.

Wow, that's around 420 miles in round trips. With gas at the current price of $1.99 a gallon in Gallia, that's gonna be lots of bucks just for gas.

South Gallia has a kid back from suspension and they have won 3 out of the last 4 games. They just beat Ironton St. Joe and barely lost to Southern. South Gallia is becoming a dangerous team.....Keep up the good work. I would prolly switch Southern and Oak Hill

Who has Southern beaten this year besides the following:

5-7 South Gallia (twice)
1-8 Wahama (twice)
4-7 Federal Hocking
4-6 Meigs

They lost to 6-6 Trimble and 4-6 Belpre.

Oak Hill will get the number 1 seed.

Looks like the Div. III at Waverly is very tough! North Adams, Peebles, Piketon, Portsmouth, Valley.....some very dangerous teams in that one. There will be some serious lobbying going on in that one.
