Rock Hill @ South Gallia
Rock Hill travels up to the Mercerville Garden tonight to take on the Rebels. This is a big game for SG as far as tourney seedings will go. Thoughts?

What has happened to all of the Rock Hill posters? Last year they were everywhere and this year I dont think I have seen one. How has Rock Hill played as of late?

Good game to watch. The Rebels have improved a great deal as the season has gone on.

It is very hard to get on any thread now and not see where someone has said they got cheated.
SG played a good game last night. They showed alot of heart and alot of hustle. They had the lead almost the entire game and then Rock Hill took the lead late in the fourth but the Rebels fought hard and tied it up with a three with around a minute to go. This one came down to a few mental mistakes and missed free throws. You cant do that in a tight game or you will lose 9 times out of 10.

Why didn't they have the JV coach talk to the players before every foul shot and do some of that motivating he talks so much about? He could maybe have convinced them that they were getting ready to run through a brick wall for him instead of shooting foul shots. They would have made them for sure if he would have done that. Better get that strategy working before tourny time.

I dont think the players needed any motivation last night. We just had the same problem that we have all year and that was hitting our free throws.
I think the strategy that we are going with right now is just fine and will be the strategy used during the tourney!

I was at this game last night and I can't understand why anyone would say the refs cheated. I've watched those three guys ref at several different schools and they do a very good job. I guess some people just can't face the fact that the Rebels have improved quite a bit over the past several weeks. Keep up the hard work Rebels!!!

Actually South Gallia had more fouls than Rock Hill. Both teams played well last night and I guess my MOTIVATION wasn't enough!!!!!South Gallia is turning the corner. Rock Hill iis a big DIV II school but South Gallia always plays the tough. We need to focus on our freethrow a little more. We will continue to work like we always do in practice. We have heart and its coming together for us!!!!

I just would like to hear a little more about what a GREAT coach you are. Listening to you is a little like listening to those dolts from Southern reliving the past glory of 80 and 82.

I'd just like to see the "adults" out here remember that they are talking about a bunch of high school kids that work very hard at a sport that they truly ENJOY!!!
The Rebel Atheletes are a great bunch of kids! It would really be a nice change to see more people give them credit for their hard work instead of saying "the refs cheated", or "this" person screwed up "that" play, or (my personal favorite) the coach didn't do it right. (as for the coaches...they may not make the perfect call for every play, but they work hard at their jobs. If you think it's an easy job you should give up every evening to work with a bunch of kids just to have everyone in the community second guess you and talk about every little thing you say or do)
How about we give the kids the credit that they deserve! They played a hard game and they are really maturing. This year is a growing year....but watch out for the Rebels in the years to come!!!!!!!
To all the Rebel athletes.....just keep giving them something to talk about and you know that you are doing your job.
The day that there is nothing to say about what you have done...is the day that you have done nothing.

Ok that is not even close to what happened in teh game, if the rebels would of got the most calls there way then they would of won the game!
We used to always never get any calls at home up until the 05-06 season and then we got a fair amount of calls at home but this year it seems like it is going back to the way it was before! We seemed to be getting cheated while we play at home!

Actually Marshall Fan, I believe your son inherited his game from one of his cousins. I just won't say which one, I'll let you figure that out!!!
