Doesn't Nelsonvilles coach know that you can't push kids hard like you used to.
Now if it were a video game playing competition it would be a whole different story.
Good Luck to everyone this weekend.

I also wanted too mention Paint Valley as a top contender. ztcoach you are about right. My wrestlers like to be pushed but a stat girl from another team this past weekened said I was mean and had no Social skills. I had to laugh. Is all I have ever wanted is for my wrestlers to succeed on and off the mat.
Re: D III Sectionals at NY
I don't know about social skills, but you are more than qualified to teach the class on sand-bagging.
Good luck to all our TVC wrestlers this weekend.

Yes Norway will be back at 160. He had a better shot beating Wiggers than Packard and that did not work out how we would have liked. He will be back at 160 which will not be much fun with Asthon at this weight. But Robert will give his best effort.
Sandbagging??? I just understand we have a lot of work to do to get to the next level. Satisfying to just get by is not enough I think my kids still have a lot to learn.
Good Luck this will be a much improved Sectional.

Belpre's lighterweights and 189 and hvy weight will need to step up and have a good day of wrestling this weekend for them to finish in the top 5. Hopefully they all get to Districts good luck to all the TVC wrestlers this weekend! i think we got a pretty tough group this year with a good chance at alot of District qualifiers.

I have to disagree about PV being deep and finishing 2nd. IMO they get 3 out and maybe an alternate or two.

Coach Yinger does a great job at Nelsonville!! He pushes his kids because he sees their potential and wants them to be the very best they can be!! He is not hard on them AT ALL!! If any of the kids have a problem with his coaching style, the basketball court is right outside of the wrestling room!!!!

Re: D III Sectionals at NY
warrengrappler/xcman maybe I'm missing something here but theres never been a kid on Nelsonville York's team complain about Coach Yinger's coaching style. He's a coach that does what it takes to make champions out of young wrestlers. The standards for these young wrestlers are so high that people look at it as an upset when a upper classmen beats one of the freshman. Now if that is being a bad coach then I probably don't understand what a good coach is. (Coach Yinger it can be a lonely place at the top. Keep doing what your doing.) Its not over yet! TRAIN LIKE CHAMPIONS!
Re: D III Sectionals at NY
Get Serious Warren grappler is refering to a post on the TVC thread where somone from another school said I had no social skills that I am too hard on my kids, it was said Saturday at the TVC. lol I love peopls.
Re: D III Sectionals at NY

I think coach Yinger does a great job with those young men. He works them hard and teaches them that hard work leads to bigger and better things. He also does a great job at coaching the youth wrestling to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
