This team ran the table again. But the best game of the year was the preseason srimmage with Ironton. I thought that was the best they played all year. I think the problem with this team is they seem to play to the level of compitetion at times, and it gives some people hope of beating them. If they seen the Ironton game that would all change. Ironton went undeafeted as well. Nobody around here can play with them, except Burg. I do think Ironton is the best team between the two. JMO

yes they did run the table , and i believe they had a pizza party as well. with all the talk about this team was going to get beat and they werent playing up to par , they still got the job done when they needed to.

31- 0 for a 2yr span is pretty darn good, and 2 championships to boot, not many jr. high teams have accomplished that, so we are proud of the pirates, both 7th and 8th, hopefully the program is set for years to come

looks to me like the 8th grade team shut everybody up, what happen to all you people that could do nothing but bad mouth everything thing about this team. And they done nothing but prove you all wrong once again. where is sportsfiend and chloe, some of our main critics, seemed to have shut them up too. well we done what we had to do when we had to do it, nobody said it had to be pretty, lol. Im sure next year we lose a few to j.v's,but i still think that we will be just fine, good luck in the future, and keep up the hard work. peace out

Nobody went anywhere Bourne and nobody was bad mouthing 'everything about this team' as you put it. If you had some reading comprehension skills you would see that it wasn't a criticism of the team but more of the leadership involved and a few hot dogs who finally got themselves under control. You're right...the boys did get it together and showed they had what it takes to finish the job this year. I wouldn't take anything away from that accomplishment. It'll be great to see how these guys are divided up over the next few years. I've been a huge supporter of this program and these boys in particular.....I'm no where near a 'main critic' as you put it. :122249

Congrats again to the Burg. Back to back seasons of being undefeated and SOC champs. Way to go boys! :122245
