South Point vs Fairland Updates
South Point vs Fairland Updates
SP leads 32-13 at the half. Kayla Fletcher leading scorer with 8 points. SP won JV 48-27. Ashley Goodall leading scorer with 15 points in that game.
Re: South Point vs Fairland Updates
Lady Pointers win 73-30. The scoring was probably the most balanced I've ever seen. Four Lady Pointers finished in double figures (all with 10): Kayla Fletcher, Jalynn Bradburn, Angelica Stewart, and Tinesha Taylor. Several others finished with 7-8 points each. All players that played scored as well.
Re: South Point vs Fairland Updates
It is hard to believe these Fairland girls won championships in Jr. High. Our program has fallen off the face of the Earth in the past 4 years.

I can see how that can happen. In high school you can pick the five best kids over 4 different grade levels. South Point right now is starting 1 senior, 1 junior, 2or 3 sophomore and somtimes a freshman. No wonder they are killing everybody.

Re: South Point vs Fairland Updates
Excellent point osumufan......The same thing happens in Softball, and is now happening in V-ball.........I would much rather have a program that has 2 or 3 athletes per grade, than have one grade with numerous athletic girls, because in HS, the first will always win consistently............
