The reason they are only using one gym and 3 mats is because the Girls basketball team needs the extra Gym to practice!!!! They have another gym at the end of the school, but they don't want to use that gym??????

Meadowbrook's brackets are up. So, some of the others are completed. BTW, the Meadowbrook Sectional could be done in one day. Only 10 or 11 teams. Most, if none, have a full line up. I counted 14 matches the first round. Two 103's don't have a match until the semi's. Sounds like WV, make weight and qualify for the states. My point of this is...Chillicothe has waaaay too many teams and Meadowbrook has too few. Someone needs to spread the wealth and re-draw the cut-off line for East/SE, at least for wrestling in D2.

Agree totally. Those are the two I had in mind.

The only team with a full squad is Philo. Although, this is not unusual. As I look at the sectionals throughout the state in all divisions on baums page, I notice A LOT more teams that are not filling their weight classes. Is wrestling becoming that unpopular?

Just heard Athens Won the sectional and will send 5 wrestlers to District with one alternate.
