Jackson led from the get go. Kelsey Martin drilled 2 3s and Nicole Chapman had a great 2nd qtr to give Jackson a 20-10 lead at the half. Athens never really got within half of the Ironladies total until the end as Jackson led 41-19 and Athens scored the final 5 points.

Niclole Chapman led the Ironladies with 10 points and a couple of highlight plays. Kelsey Martin had 3 3s for 9 points and just missed the other 2 3s she took. She also had 5 steals. Sharissa Cooper had 8 points and a couple steals and Candace Chapman had 7 points and 5 steals. Sophmore Emily Cooper led the game with 8 assists and at just 5'4 led the Ironladies with 6 rebounds. N'trya Green had 4 points and several blocks. Freshman Meredith Harless played great defense with a couple of assists and Mariah Harless, Stiffler and Geiger rounded out the great play by the Ironladies.

I caught it on the radio too, Dan, Randy and Pete always do a great job! 92 you gave a great summary as well. You should consider helping them if one of them can't make it to a broadcast. Good luck to the Ironladies on Thursday.
