I hear Paul Thomas of Adena is a top candidate for the Miami Trace job. Any truth to this?

When I heard there was an opening at MT, I wondered if he might put in for it.

I have heard the same about Coach Thomas and I think he would be a great choice for MT

I don't think Thomas is on MT Radar(yet) but there is ties to Adena with Hammond in the AD office... The community wants Bart from Logan Elm along with his son. I do know that there is interest from both sides...This will come down to a money thing...There is some interest with Heath Hinton don't know if he has landed any where yet...I have been told that the MT Board gave the green light to go after a big name coach...

Who ever gets the job will be expected to Win and I mean Win...This group of parents and fans will not take anything else...Unfortunately they got the last coach to resign and they have the basketball and AD on there radar next.

Its a shame that a mob squad might can strike so much fear.

I think Wade Bartholomew at Huntington would be an excellent choice for MT as well but I heard he has applied for a Grad Assistant position at OSU.

Heard a different name. Hard to believe how much this program has fallen from where it was at one time. Has Fayette County changed that much over the years?

FC Coach..I think you may be on to something with Bart...talked to a person very close to the situation at Trace and sure sounds like something is in the works. I don't think Hinton is a good fit at MT.

Shoelace...It will be interesting to find out...I know he wants Wade to come with him and they will have a math opening...There should be alot of interest in the job...I did hear that after the closing date they are going to pic candidates to interview and have to two days of interviewing and make a hire...I will guess they will have a new coach by the end of Jan.
As far as Heath Hinton I have know Idea if he is even interested but I would assume most coaches would be.

I heard coach Diehl wanted to return but a teacher with no coaching experience wants the job. Not sure but didn't SE just come off a few pretty good years. Would be a tough call if true for sure.

I've heard that full time employees get top priority for jobs within the district over individuals who are not employed full time by the district. However, I have also heard that this rule only applies if the individual within the district is qualified for the position he/she is applying for. Can anyone out there clarify this for me?

some schools will leave that area very gray so they can essentially do what they want

some schools do not do coaches evaluations for the same reasons
there will always be a gray area and the adm will have the wiggle room they want

its funny that schools that have the loose policies are the ones that dont win
believe in the people you hire and support them and the winning will start

One should be very careful about the first head coaching job they take! They could end up being an assistant for the rest of their career if they don't have sucess.

Rumor I have heard in the Hills is that Scott Keller is leaving Westfall. From a few people. Surprising if true. Haven't run into anyone that knows it as fact however. But again, heard it from more than one person.

Paul Thomas is coming back to Adena , he just signed a new long term deal for big money .
