Seniors receiving college looks
what seniors from the area are receiving college looks? I've heard this class has quite a few that have the potential to play D1/D2 ball.

According to paladin, no one from SEO deserves to be looked at by any colleges. SEO players have no skill, are slow and just can't hang with the boys form the North.

Some people know talent, some know nothing. I'll put the most disgruntled individual on this site under the knows nothing category!

A US military academy appointment is impressive and congratulations are in order.schenk11 wrote:West Point appointment is impressive!!!!!Matt52 wrote:Greg Bender RB/LB from Coal Grove was offered a full athletic scholarship to Army
All appointments to the academys are full rides. Atheletics will add weight to the selection process for these appointments, but there is no such thing as an athletic scholarship to those academys.

Is that Biff who played for the Amish team? If so he is not accepting that offer. He is afraid of water. He thought it meant seeing a woman's navel.WitnessProtection wrote:Cadmus wingback Biff McFinsterbacher-Smythe is going to Cheshire Naval Academy.
Re: Seniors receiving college looks
It kind of sounds like your putting a damper on his accomplishment. He still received an offer of scholarship to a division 1 football program. Regardless of the term you are using, it is still a great achievement acedemically and athletically.pappy1 wrote:A US military academy appointment is impressive and congratulations are in order.schenk11 wrote:West Point appointment is impressive!!!!!Matt52 wrote:Greg Bender RB/LB from Coal Grove was offered a full athletic scholarship to Army

I'm not sure exactly why you said this??
It is still termed a scholarship, and the athletic portion of the the offer, grants such a increase to the possibility that the athlete will be accepted that it basically eliminates the minimal acceptance rate.
Idk about Greg himself, but if the military is something that intrests him, this is a valuable and amazing opportunity for him to take.
