So what do you think the will look like in 2012?
Any predictions?
What will the roster look like on both sides of the ball?

Crace, Meeker, Zaph in the backfield with austin Bricker at Q-back. Smitty and Frye @ ends. Several veteran big strong linemen to fill with White at center.
Zaph, Crace, book, and Bricker at db's. meeker and ? at end. Bennett at nose. Frye at backer. Not sure on other positions. I'd say whoever Coach T. feels has
earned it in the offseason. (but there is plenty to choose from and many can get it done). JMO

Sounds like we have plenty of skilled guys, I also like the idea of Bricker at QB, maybe another team like the 08 SOC CHAMPS, i also think that Zach Frye will be in the back field catching quick pitches, cause he has break away speed. Meeker should be our leading rusher, Zaph needs to work hard and he could be a work horse. West Side Football sounds pretty good right now, keep up the work boys.

We do have alot of skilled guys agree 100% on Bricker at qb he is a great athlete and has a very high football I.Q. You forgot about one rb Justin Crace he came on really strong late last season and will be a great back this season it will be very interesting to see who will be the leading rusher this season with the talent and depth we have at that position. With what I have seen from the dedication and hard work the boys have put in so far this off season the sky is the limit for the 2012 West Siders cant wait.WestSideFan2002 wrote:Sounds like we have plenty of skilled guys, I also like the idea of Bricker at QB, maybe another team like the 08 SOC CHAMPS, i also think that Zach Frye will be in the back field catching quick pitches, cause he has break away speed. I did forget about crace, he is an awesome young man, and a great football player, he too will have a huge part in the 2012 season, all i know is that west will not be hurting this year, they are all around big strong and decently fast. Bricker, Frye, Meeker, Zaph, Crace, and maybe Bryson hurd, all these boys have the talent to get us fans on our feet, I see a gold ball in the Future !

Re: Portsmouth West Senators 2012?
Im just so excited to watch this group of boys play, the senior class has been winning there whole lives, pee wee, junior high, freshman and jv football, many have been starting or playing alot for 2 years, the one weak link was the quarterback from junior high, to JV, not saying frye was a bad qb but he is better suited as an end or quick pitch man. With Bricker and his natural football smarts, and the four headed monster in the backfield, Crace, Meeker, Zaph, and Zach Frye, we should have an offense alot like the 08 team, im so excited. Ive heard that these boys begged coach T to scrimmage Ironton, these boys want to beat the best to be the best, this team has the potential to be the best team weve had since 02.. IMO!
Re: Portsmouth West Senators 2012?
What time I've got to watch them the commitment to the offseason program is impressive. For a D5 team to have enough committed kids to have 2 full sessions in April is impressive. This team is gonna be very good.

They will run the show this year. They will have a 4 headed monster in Meeker-Frye-Crace-and Bricker. Meeker will lead IMO
