i thought it could be a remington but the forearm looked like a mossberg 835.
that's a good turkey gun you have oh1
I have a Camo Remington 870 SPST Supermag that I use for Turkey hunting and I have a slug barrel and scope for it for deer.

Heres what I use for deer turkeys and rabbits. I also use it on turkeys like BOO when I catch them in my shed and boat.

No wonder your freezer is empty.
I used to use one of those when I was younger but I would shoot it left handed to keep from tearing them up too bad.

ONCE.......
It kicked me so hard that it pumped the gun automatically, I didn't have to pump it.

3 1/2 will flat light a person up, not to mention it in 10 ga.
I went deer hunting with some friends up in Maine one year and they used 10 ga with 00 buckshot.
