The MOAC sounds like a pretty decent league. All those schools are fairly close to each other aren't they?

The Licking County League is going to be really good too.

alder will also be in the MOAC and it will indclude North Union, Fairbanks, and couple of other schools. Not real excited about it from my point of view as we have had some great schedules being freelance.

Basically the league will be split into the Morrow/Knox county division (they are bordering counties), and Marion Country division with Alder and Fairbanks. FNL you forgot the next best team year in year out to you guys, who you will be playing which is Marion Pleasant. I'm surprised that the MOAC let Alder in because I don't see anyone competing with them in hardly any sports. The word that were hearing now is some of the small schools in Marion county are trying to leave the conference already because they want nothing to do with Alder, and the reason that East Knox and Danville are being allowed to join now is the Morrow County schools said if you don't take those 2 schools we will leave and form our own Knox/Morrow league.

I don't know if Carter would leave for Westerville North if there was a favorable possibility that Westerville may not even have sports next year, but I doubt that really happens there. If they cry wolf like Northridge did, they will never pass a levy if they don't stick to their guns. The voters know that someone will bail out the sports programs, so that is why they always vote them down. Sad, but true. :(

Three days until game time! Go Johnnies!!!

Kicker - we have tried to get into leagues before and had that problem. Trust me that the fans really dont want anything to do with the smaller schools because we want the quality win points. I havent seen a complete list so marion Pleasant is a welcome surprise for me. Shouldnt be an issue for most sports....we are competitive in most but Football is our religion.

It's impossible to tell who could be in the championship game because the state sets the final 4 up after they see who was won the regions. This is a tough year to pick a final 4 not real sure but my guess would be Johnstown, Hartley, Girard, and Chaminade.

It could end up that way but the state redraws the brackets after the regionals and tries to place teams by geography for easier travel.

That's the first I've heard of them doing that this early, I'm actually happy they did it this way. When Danville has won or played for the region we never sent scouts out because we never knew who we would wind up with.

Johnstown runs a type of defense that makes it tough to put together drives, you have to break off big plays to beat them but the bad news is you give their O the ball, and I can't see anyone slowing their offense down. Johnstown has had some great teams this decade but they have been D5 and what has always killed them is they could not pass and beat a team they were not better than. This year they have a QB that can do things no other QB they have had can do which is run and throw, and all the players only go 1 way.

As for the future who knows. This is 99% Carter's last year, and after next year they will be in a new league and I have not heard if they will be with the small or big schools in the Licking County Leagues division.
People keep saying that Coscocton runs a same offend as Danville does Thank Johnstown will have trouble?
Go Johnnies !!!!!!!!!!!!

Coshocton runs the same version of wing-t as Danville. Which is the double wing and always motions out of it for the down/belly or buck sweep. They are much better at running it this year than Danville because they have a lot more size and a ton of speed at the wing positions. I'm sure Coshocton will break off some huge runs with their speed on inside counters for TD's (which we love to do and had some good gains on them against Johnstown but not the speed to take it to the house), but I think Johnstown will win comfortably. I have seen a few films of Coshocton this year and I see a score of something like 42-21 or so.

As much as I would like to see your prediction come true Kicker, there is no way I see Johnstown winning this game by a score of 42-21, but I sure hope you're right. I haven't seen Coshocton play, only their stats, which are pretty darn impressive.

Let's go Johnstown!

Its GAME DAY!!!!! I have a really good gut feeling about this one, as much as I hope the score would be 41-21 I think its gonna be closer than that but Jtown will make key stops in 2nd half and the running attack will be to much for the Redskins to handle,Jtown pulls it out in the 2nd half.
GO JOHNNIES AND SKIN THOSE REDSKINS.

20-10 at half Johnstown in the lead. On pace for 40-20 not too far off from my prediction :). You can stream the game here http://www.mywtnsradio.com/stream1.cfm
