FS Jordan Benson has signed a NLI for a scholarship a West Liberty State College(soon to be University status-yee haw)outside of Wheeling, WV. It is NCAA D2 and a member of the WVIAC. He joins his teammate Clay Beeler who was named the Don Hansen Gazette(which is a HUGE D2 all-american list) Def. Player of the Year. This is an enormous accomplishment for a true SO. Hell, it's enormous for a SR! Especially when they name you the BEST at your position out of hundreds in the country.
He was one of the very few HS kids they signed. They made a big surge for JUCO's and transfers. Last year they had ALL-ACC RB, Brandon Ore from VA. Tech transfer in.
Hopefully, Jordan will find the success that Clay has. It's a great school, with great coaches, facilities and a chance at great education. Plus, the HC's wife is the golf pro at Oglebay Park!!!BIG bonus if you're a golfer.Good luck you 2 Hilltoppers!!

We wrestled against WL in the 1990s. I liked the school. Best of Luck!
