Many fans are unhappy with the LHS program's direction.
Many fans are unhappy with the GAHS offensive strategy, I'm one of them.
More important than either one of those is an injury free game and safe trips to and from Memorial Field.
Good luck to both teams.

Plenty of wind this morning, once the wind let up a light rain started.... Nothing to worry about yet..... Looks like a good night to feature your power running attack Blue.... I just hope the game is decided before the last play......LOL....

Rain always helps the underdog. Maybe those who choose to put in work can rise up tonight in the purple helmets.

Logan hasn't started 0-6 since 1929 (but they did go winless through their first 7 in 1981, but tied Athens 20-20 in week 5).

The last time Logan was 0-5 was in 1990 (Amyx's first year). That year they beat Gallipolis in week 6 for their first win.

Well history hopefully won't repeat itself tonight

Grandma says she don't want pappy to make the long trip alone. She wants to see our grandson play. She isn't looking forward to the cold, wind and rain. Those four letter words dealing with weather are not good. I think she'll probably end up setting in the car most of the game. Probably leaving about 4:30. Hope its a BLUE night.

Hey Pappy1, what exactly is the type of offense GAHS should run, according to most posters they run a little of everything and you don't seem to like anything they have done. I think I will bring it some clickers and pass them out and let you and all the knowledgeable fans call each play. I am sure the results would be extraordinary. I'd be willing to bet 25% wants to run spread, 25% wants to run power, 25% will want to run shotgun empty back field and the rest who knows. or some similar combination(percentage). then when they didn't vote the way you want you can tell the majority they are idiots because they aren't doing it right either.

Funny thing, a good coach once told me, there are no good plays, there are no bad plays, all philosophies are good, all are bad. if there was one thing that was right, everyone would run that formation, call that play etc. all plays work, its the execution that's the problem. Some formations fair better than others vs certain formations etc. but all plays if executed correctly work.

You as a coach can only put your kids in a position to win, if you can put your kids in a position to win, you have done a great job. Lets see if our coaching staff puts our kids in a position to win AGAIN tonight.

I would like them to run the offense they went to their last possesion in the Ironton game. They moved the ball down the field with that offense. IMO if they would have ran it most of the time last week, we wouldn't have got shut out. I totally agree that all plays that are properly executed will be successful. As stated before I think you should run what best fits your talent, and this year the power running game fits best.

Looking at LoganLocos projected lineup for tonights contest there are two players that played on the same jr hi football team in a school district that neither now attend. One plays for Logan and one plays for GAHS.

it was the same offense they ran the entire night.they just had wore Ironton down so much and called a few more run plays in the mix but that's what a good offense does, it does multiple things out of same formation thus making it harder to defend.

We were at two different games, the team I watched drive down the field on their last possesion was not running the same offense they had ran all night.

Interesting. The man sitting behind me was calling pass and run all night based on the formations, and he was correct almost every time.
