Congrats to both team, on their wins in week 11!! This may be the game to see who will win the Region. And should be a great game.

I think that The Burg will pull this one out, and take the Region. They have so much speed, and experience, and I too think they are peaking at the right time. They have played great football since the Minford game. I have to much respect for The Burg, and will not say anything to put them down. They deserve all the respect in the World, but, the loss to my Falcons, might have been just what they needed. I'm not saying that they deserved to lose a game, but that, that might have been just what they needed to turn this season around. They have really picked it up a level since that game. They are playing like they have something to prove, and are proving it. And it starts at the top, everyone, has picked up the pace. I am proud of The Burg, and know, they will make a great showing, for our SOC II, the rest of the way.Good Luck, and keep up the good work.

Proud to be a Falcon!!! The SOC II Champs!!!

How about then the "three headed pirate" Sounds pretty vicious to me.

There is no way that this Burg team gives up 43. Come on, they only gave up 42 to MC.LOL The Burg is hitting on all cylinders right now and if they play like they did on offense the other night, they are going to be extremely difficult to stop. Defense needs to step it up, but they still had that bend don't break attitude and they stepped up when they needed to.

Should be a great game.

Just heard that we might have lost one of our 3 monsters with a separated shoulder. Waiting for MRI results.

That's not good to hear. Did they hurt it in the game or in practice? I only saw two people that looked injured in the game and that was Kemper and Adkins and both played after their injuries.

Well, if he is not able to go, there is still Walker, Silvey and Hall. None of them are to shabby in the backfield and all are seniors that can step in as needed. Hopefully he is fine though...

Hearing that 99.3 is covering both the Wheelersburg and the Oak Hill
playoff games on radio Friday. Burg on 99.3 and Oak Hill on (107.5)(?)
Maybe the web?

Ok, even if he was, why would you put that on here. If he is hurt, let them find that out once the game starts.

If you think that coaches don't get on here and read, than you are on another planet. This could be vital information to them.

I just want to wish the Wheelersburg Pirates the Best of Luck this coming week. We have had some great games and continue to have a great atmosphere of comraderie and sportsmanship at our games and for each other the remainder of the season. I think Wheelersburg has a lot to prove and will. Even if they have an inured player, they are just like us. We pull one in the game thats just gritting his teeth to get playing time and then has a smashmouth game. I want the Burg and Ironton to go all the way... It can happen. I am only concerned about how much the burg let their week eleven opponent score. Defense wins games, especially in the five game season it takes to win the state. I strongly feel the Burg will have a challenge with Fredricktown, but will pull away. I also think it will be the opposite of last week, where the score will be like 21-7, something in that scenario. I am so proud of the Burg and Ironton, and I just love how both can pull from five nice sized backs that can leave the other team scratching their heads, like "who the heck is he, he wasnt in films"!!!
Now, I am totally against crashing another teams thread, as Many had to endure earlier in the year for weeks, but when you respect the Burg as I town fans do, if ya have any class at all, ya chime in and say good luck, and I will even say... Burg's the word! I pride myself on class, being from Ironton, and for several years i have had to literally bite my tounge in not saying anything when reading the regional standings and I would just giggle until having to run to the bathroom when i read about Fredricktown. YES, a great team, But their team name always makes me giggle until i hit the urination depository.... "The Freddies"... Just cracks me up in a good way, but I am sure they could come up with a last minute slogan like" giggle at fredricktown and the "Fred's knock you dead"! or like the the kill bill movies... the fred's kill..????? Oh my give me a day off, and see what happens.. I havent even made it to the Ironton thread yet either..

good luck BURG!!!

I am completely serious in support of Wheelersburg, and having wholesome fun about fredricktown's nickname. I do not mean to offend, although I am sure it will.. If this makes anyone from the Burg upset, I apologize in advance... go burg go!!

That's kinda stupid to put that on here. 1st off listing injuries of a minor is classless, and what good does any of that do for Wheelersburg to list what players are injured and how they're hurt?

I had heard that rumor as well, and was hoping it wasn't true. I had the pleasure of instructing him and some of the other boys on the Burg football team a few years ago and know he is a fine young man and a harder worker, hopefully this is all precautionary, and he will be back soon.

Best of luck, to the Burg, even with an injury they still have plenty of weapons.
