AND NOW TO MY NEW HOMETOWN WAVERLY TIGERS.--------- I'VE HAD A TINGLING IN MY LOWER UNIT ALL WEEK ABOUT THIS ONE.
AND I HAVE TO SAY MY UPSET SPECIAL THIS WEEK IS -------- THE WAVERLY TIGERS INVADING AND SINKING THE PIRATE'S SHIP. I HAVE TO HAVE A MINOR SURGICAL PROCEDURE FRIDAY.SO IF I CAN'T GET BACK FROM IT IN TIME TO GO TO IRONTON, THEN I'LL BE ON THE WAVERLY TIGERS SIDELINE.EITHER WAY AND IN BOTH CASES I'LL BE ROOTIN ON THE TIGERS.

How much is a ticket at Burg? I heard it was $6.00
You'll pay $5.00 at Waverly.

A "family of 4" will pay $24.00 at Burg to get in with no pay to park.
A "family of 4" will pay $22.00 at Waverly with the $2.00 parking.
Take that down to just two people and it's the same cost of $12.00 at either school.

Of the 500+ lined parking spaces you'll pay $2.00 for - all are great spots within 1 minute or less of the entrance.
If you don't want to pay $2.00 for one of these spots there are streets surrounding the stadium you can park on, a church lot one block away, the government center 1 minute away and various other spots you may be able to find.

On top of that, programs are less expensive at Waverly than most other places and concession prices are low.

BIG RENOVATION THERE CALLIE , AND YES THEY DID. I AIN'T SEEN IT YET BUT GO TO CHURCH WITH A BUNCH OF THEM. SUPPOSOSED TO BE REALLY NICE.

The visiting bleachers were expanded on both ends.
The home bleachers seat more than most stadiums around here, other than Jackson.

I agree, people were lined up along the fence for the playoff game last year but I can guarantee you there weren't more standing then sitting, lol.
The fence is normally lined with people even when the bleachers aren't full.
