A few things:

Armani Reeves de-committed from PSU yesterday. Coach Hoke was in-home two days ago. Urban will be in today, and coach Mattison in Wednesday. In his latest interview he said Cam Williams going to OSU isn't a huge factor, said he has to do what is right for him. So....

Josh Garnett in home was last night. Things are looking pretty good imo.

1. Sam Grant=Blue
2. Josh Garnett=this is tough, Bluuuuuuu. I can't say it yet.
3. Jordan Diamond=Blue and has told the coaches so, but was supposed to be done with visits and went to Arkansas this weekend, so I still stand by either Auburn or Michigan.
4. Armani Reeves=I would guess leaning Buckeye but latest visit helped and UM has the last shot, so...
5. Alex Kozan=Colorado

On the Michigan Insiders boards the main insider has just put up a percentage on both Reeves and Garnett.

1. On Armani Reeves he said Urban showed up late to the in home, had little to say about academics, and was only selling Mom on the direction of "the program". So....Michigan according to him is in the drivers seat and he put up the 50.1%, which means =Blue.
2. Didn't say much on Garnett, just put up 50.1%. So....

Again, this is not my source, so take it for what it is worth.

The latest:

I said a week ago Armani would be a buckeye.

The remaining:
1. Grant=Blue
2. Diamond=Blue
3. *Willie Henry=Blue
4. Kozan=Iowa pure guess heard nothing.

I know, I am not sure what is happening right now. Two nights ago Sam called UM said it's between UM and Oklahoma and Oklahoma already had 3 TE commits. UM felt like they were in the drivers seat and his teammate Kyle Kalis said he was coming to UM. Not sure what happened in those two days.

Well some good news, Glenville DT Willie Henry committed to Michigan today. That is two Glenville kids in two years for UM. He is 6'3, 265, and projects as a 5-tech DT.

No Ironmen, you were wrong and I was right.

You said he was going to Boston College, in November/December I told you he was not. I was told first hand he had decommitted back in October. His recent interview he claims he decommitted in October. It wasn't long ago you were arguing he was going to BC. I PM'd you to ask you why you thought this and if you had a source, you didn't respond. So no, you were wrong.

Anyways, like I said, Diamond told Hoke he was coming over two weeks ago. Can this change, sure. Sam Grant told Kyle Kalis he was going Michigan just days before committing to Oklahoma. So, things change in recruiting, that is how things work.

It is my opinion based on Diamond telling the coaches on his last visit he was coming, will that change, possibly. His high school coach is from Arkansas, went to Arkansas, and his family is still in Arkansas. So we shall see.

Peake - Come On Man ..... You were wrong also. You said he was coming to Michigan and he didn't. At least I can admit I was wrong... Such the flavor you choose.

Like I said, I gave you plenty of time to respond and say something besides I was wrong. At the time you made your comment he had been decommitted for nearly a month. I was wrong that he didn't sign with Michigan, but there was no way he was going to BC despite the fact you were trying to make me look silly.

Anyways, UM has picked up another recruit, 4-star Dennis Norfleet, RB/WR, combo player. Rated as the #19 RB in the country. Reminds me of Tae Odoms.

Now we wait on Diamond until Friday. Things from what I hear are still good to go.

Not good to go re Diamond. Auburn or Arkansas. Called UM last night to tell them sad news :(. He told UM two weeks ago he loved it at UM and was coming, don't know what happened on his other visits to change his mind, but his mind has changed.

Good news Kozan is still in play. If Kozan commits that gives us the center we are missing in this class and fills out a very very good OL class.

LT-Ben Braden
LG-Kyle Kalis
C-?
RG-Blake Bars
RT-Eric Magnuson

Pretty darn good pull imo, hurts missing out on Garnett and Diamond, but it happens. Can't get them all.

I wouldnt worry about missing out on Diamond when OSU stopped recruiting him that threw up a Red Flag for me. UM is alot of things but they wont pay for play and i think that is the case with this one. Kalis is a stud and a stand up kid. But I gotta ask did did HOKE blow a blood vessel when he got the news?

I don't think they were mad, they were upset however. When a kid says I am coming then doesn't it stinks. With that being said um denies heavily that diamond asked for anything and think the family is wonderful. That is a false rumor IMO. Alex Kozan is still in play and is down to um and auburn. I have to think with 6 kids in the auburn ol class already um is probably the choice. We will see.

Overall if this is it this is the best class um has seen since 2003.

Breakdown of this class. One more still to decide, Alex Kozan, but I'll break it down.

Qb-none, but a super is in the next class. Probably will take 2.

Rb-drake Johnson, the knock on this kid is he wasn't well known because his high school program is not very good. He had a eastern and Weston offer. He is. A good sized back at 6'1, 210. He is real fast too. He is second in the nation in the 110 m high hurdles. Ran for over 2000 yards this year. Very strong runner, runs a little straight up and down, has good leg drive, and great straight line speed. The knock is that his pad level can be too high. He was a good snag because um will redshirt him and he will have a year or two to develop.

Dennis nor fleet-Dennis will serve as both a rb and slot and could possibly push for playing time early. The kid can scoot, ran a 4.4 electronic time. Ran for over 2200 yards his senior year. He is electric and is a threat to take it to the house any time he touches it in the open field. The knock is his size, where he is lucky to top 5'7. He will get a chance in the return game as well. A very good steal.

Wr- Amarth darbob, he is the most physically ready of the two/three. He is 6'2 200 and is the type of wideout um will go after in the future. He is a very solid athlete, nice hands, and can go up. And get it. The knock on him is he disappears sometimes when the ball is not coming his way. Should push for pt early.

Jesu chess on- Jehu is 6'3 185' and should get a year to develop. He was very impressive at um camp. He is raw, but is Cynthia athletic and has solid seed. The knock is he needs to get stronger and he needs developed.

The/wr- devin fun chess- devin is a wild card because he is 6'2 215 and was recruited as a te. The good news is he may be ready to step up and play at wr instead. He is a big strong kid who is a better athlete then the coaches thought at wr. There is a good chance he may stick at wr.

Te- aj Williams - both Allen trieu and bill Greene said this kid if he sticks at ot will be an all American. He is physically ready to play right now at 6'4 270. Obviously the knock is he is a big kid and can he stick at 270 to stay at te until they can move him to ol?

Ol- Kyle kalis- 6'5 275, probably the most ready of all the incoming ol to play. Is very aggressive and is a true road grater. Good news is unless there is an injury he should redshirt.

Blake bars- 6'5' 270 it will be interesting to see where he sticks. I thought guard originally but he may move to rt. should get a year to develop.

Ben Braden- 6'7 290 the kid is a monster. Not much fat on the kid. Good athlete too, played a little te this season. Reminds me a lot of Taylor lewan. Should be a redshirt year and then will probably back up lewan for his senior year.

Eric magnuson- 6'5 270 is a very good athlete. Started for the west all American team. Played guard and was very very good, so we will see if he moves inside and bars moves to tackle. If he does stick at og then he and kalis will make a nice pair in the future.

I'll do defense later.

Defense

Ng- ondre pipkins 6'3 315. The kid will probably start from the get go or rotate a lot. He is physically ready now and was dominant at the all American game.

Dt- Willie henrey- 6'3 265 is a kid that didn't come on until mid way through his senior year. Bill Greene said this kid by the end of the year was as good as any dt in the state. Illinois, Iowa, and Syracuse also offered late. Henrey will likely redshirt and use the year to develop. He is undersized right now at 265, so this year will be key in his physical development.

Dt- Matt godin- 6'4 270 I saw Matt personally. He is a strong kid, uses his hands well. Not the best athlete, but clogs up holes. The knock on him is his athleticism. He reminds me alot of Ryan van bergan. He will probably get redshirted and get a year to develop. Will add quality depth.

Sde- Tom strobel- 6'6, 270 Tom is a big kid who has a great motor. He is physically ready to contribute now. Is not a great athlete, but a good athlete. He physically over powers opponents at the los. He will probably be in the mix for pt this year backing up Craig roh.

Wde- Chris wormley- 6'6 255 Chris is am excellent athlete. He runs on the 4x100 team and has ran a 11.4 in the 100m. He has an excellent frame, and will only get bigger. The knock on Chris is he doesnt always go hard. Chris should be in the mix for pt this year along with frank Clark and jabrel black.

Wde- Mario ojumade 6'3 220 Mario is the best athlete of them all. He is another kid I saw this year. He is very hard to handle because of how quick and athletic he is. He will really need to Put on some weight in order to contribute. The rumor is he is up to 230 now, so he is trying to get there. He is a likely candidate to redshirt, but could take the frank Clark route and gain 25 lbs and contribute at rush lb.

MLB- joe bolden- probably the biggest steal of the class. OSU missed the bus on him big time. He grew up an OSU fan but the old OSU didn't offer and the new one was too late to the party. Joe will push for playing time early. He is physically ready at 6'3 230. He is a very solid athlete and play with a high motor.

Royce Jenkins-stone is physically ready to play at 6'2 220, problem is he is raw. He is a very good athlete, but he will need time to develop.

Slb- kaleb ringer 6'2 220 is am early enrollment kid. Kaleb was a 4 star early but was hurt two games into his season and fell in the rankings. It will be interesting to see how he does as far as getting into the rotattion. He is behind jake Ryan, frank Clark, and Brennan Breyer. I am assuming he probably redshirted and then will be a special teams type of player for a year or two. Too much young talent ahead of him right now.

Wlb- James Ross 6'1 210 I love James game. I have seen Him about 5 times this year. I follow orchard lakes st Mary's up here, so I saw him a lot. He is a very very good high school player. He is instinctive and is always around the ball. Is very good in coverage too. My problem with James is he is only 6 feet at max. He has a good build, but i am not sure he can get to 230-235 without sacrificing speed. It will be interesting to see how he develops because he may end up being too small. He will probably be a st player from the get go and maybe a nickel package guy.

Db- terry Richardson- terry is another cass tech db that is only 5'8 at max. He reminds me a lot of former um db boubacar cissoko. He has gat hips and feet, but I am a little worried that he will get pushed around by bigger wideouts. He will probably get some pt in the nickel package, but um is potty solid at corner right now.

S- jarred Wilson 6'3 195 jarred is anothe early enrollment kid. He needs to add a little size, but he should provide some quality depth. I'm not sure what will happen with him because um is banking on josh furman and Marvin Robinson being ready to contribute or even start. This will be interesting.

Jeremy Clark 6'4 190 Jeremy is a big kid and is a real wild card. He could possibly move to wr as well. I am not certain on him.

Allen gant- 6'2 210 physically ready to go right now, but there is worry he is not fast enough to play ss. There may be a move to lb in his future.

This is really cool. The Michigan Mock Rock, like a huge talent show, the football and volleyball team did theirs together. Pretty cool. Hosted by Dana Jacobson.
