By “addressed” you mean they’ll both get plenty of playing time tonight I’m sure.danicalifornia wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 12:54 pmNo fists. Everything has been addressed.petesweaty wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 12:52 pm Will those players get to play tonight?
When did it happen during the game?
Was it actually fist throwing or chest up?
I would be glad today that some kids actually showed that they cared about something other than a video game.

If there were no punches thrown or thy weren’t wrestling on the court for 15 seconds then I don’t see why they wouldn’t be playing. (I have not seen video...just sayin)

In my 40 years of watching sports, I've can't remember ever seeing something like this between teammates in a game. Practice, bench, lockerroom, maybe but a game?petesweaty wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 12:57 pm Good. Settle in house.
Stuff like that happens sometimes when you have competitors.

Here’s what happened. One kid tried hugging the other kid and the other kid didn’t want hugged. It made the kid that tried to hug him mad so he tried hugging him even harder next time. Then the other kid got mad and said ok if you want a hug that bad I’ll hug you and then he hugged him really hard back. (Very close team) The coaches thought they were fighting so they called a timeout. All just a big misunderstandingsmurray wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 10:27 amWe have a grandson who plays for Huntington (JV) and we were told they had to call a timeout to separate them... don't know the extent of it - if it was verbal, shoving or fisticuffs or what.
Re: Games 1/15
Just some shoving. Big brother little brother stuff is all. Not an ideal situation but from what I heard they handled it like adults the next day in practice and took care of business that night against ZT. I don’t think anyone felt worse than the kids did.
