For sure. Played the 4th without 24. Nw is much improved with Lintz. Nw will be a tough out in tournament play.

Looks like the 2 top dogs were in dogfights tonight! NW and Burg were game. Was it a hangover or are the other teams getting better…I think maybe a mix.
Good wins for both while facing adversity and solid efforts by NW and Burg!

Re: SOC 2 Standings
Bringing this to the most recent page.
Waverly (7-1)
Minford (7-2)
Valley (7-2)
South Webster (4-4)
West (3-4)
Eastern (2-4)
Wheelersburg (3-6)
Northwest (2-6)
Oak Hill (1-6)
Tight race as we continue down the 2nd half of SOC matchups. Wheelersbug seems to be playing better as does Northwest with the return of Lintz.
Waverly controls their own destiny moving forward.

Just for fun....lets say:
Valley beats Waverly
Waverly beats Minford
All 3 dont lose any SOC games aside from those, with all 3 going 1-1, you'd have Tri-Champs, correct?

Tri-champs is a possibility. However, there is a lot of ball to be played. The league is tough this year.

Burg 51
Good bounce back for Valley after that barnburner last night. Valley played better down the stretch this evening.
Valley is now 12-2 (8-2)

Re: SOC 2 Standings
This looks like a great race to the finish! I like Waverly to finish things off and win the league. Their 2nd round game with Minford will be a challenge! But give Waverly credit, they have played a great non-conference schedule to prepare theirselves for the moment. They did not go chasing easy wins like many other schools do. Because of that I will be rooting for Waverly!

Re: SOC 2 Standings
Looking at the PDT story of Burg/Webster game, looks like Clark got some limited playing time for Burg. If he is anywhere near close to healthy around tourney time, Burg is going to be a low seed that people will be trying to avoid.*
