Extremely proud of the Fort and all Cadet nation. It was a great season, ended with a great game.
Ton of returning starters, keep setting those goals high.

Fort Frye was down 21-18 with the ball with 10 mins left. They threw a pick and Kirtland returned it to the 6. They would score. Then it was 28-18. Fort would March all the way down the field only to get stopped on the 2 yard line. Kirtland scored another Td with like 1:30 left in the game. Fort really hung in there considering most people predicted them to get stomped.

Pretty good wrap-up of the game from Kirtland's perspective
I think our team represented themselves well. It was a very exciting game.

I love this team. The Srs gave us so many memories.
QB- Tate Engle- Had 2 of his best games this year in the playoffs. A true leader a 4 year starter with 44 wins and 5 losses.
FB/MLB- Evan Schob - One of the best MLBs ever at Fort Frye. He really grounded out the tough interior yards. Will probably be hardest player to replace. One of 2 Srs that started on both sides of the ball.
OLB/TE- Brenden Huck - A true leader on and off the field. I’ve told people the last 2 years Brenden Huck doesn’t miss tackles. When they needed him even though he was undersized he stepped up and played TE. He ended up being one of the better blockers. He caught that big TD last night as well.
OG- Nate Brothers - Another kid you look at him he’s not that big. He did not play football until this year. He still earned 1st team all district honors. He was a great pulling guard. He also did well as a sub pass rusher.
OTs- Hunter Stoffel, Colby Sleek - Both first year starters stepped in and did a great job. It was one of the biggest question marks and these 2 did fantastic.
DE- Dre Turner - One of the LANDSHARKS he was a great quick tall pass rusher.
DT- Austin Bumgartner- This kid had a nice season. He went in there and plugged the middle. He didn’t get to play as much when we played more passing teams but he never let it get him down. He was always the first one to be pumping everyone up.
