Just for the record we have one player from Fed. He is a freshman and he is not ready for Varsity.

Fairland found out just how much better Meigs is. We had fun with it. Planning on a BIG year.MarauderMadness wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 1:00 pmBilly Brave just hasn’t been paying attention. Meigs coaching is top notch. Plus with the returning players and a few key recruits I see a deep run in playoffs.*D1* wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 10:23 am Meigs 2022 Football

They couldn’t keep Fort because of the open weeks they both had didn’t match up but I heard the season 2024 will start a long series between the 2 programsMeigsCountySchools wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 3:48 am I don't think Nelsonville-York will be that much better than the rest of the Ohio. It should be pretty wide open.
I do believe Trimble is that far ahead of the Hocking with Waterford following. I think Southern and Eastern should be in the running for 3-4 .
I wish Trimble would have kept Fort Frye on the schedule, it was lopsided this past year but most years it would be a great game, I think Fort Frye would win a large percentage of the time but it would be a good test for both teams that would benefit both come playoff time.

Re: TVC 2022
I'm sure Dspy will correct you too, but that statement is false. Both Thimble and Fort Frye had week two open when Miller decided not to play Thimble. So, instead of scheduling Fort Frye for week 2 Thimble dodged them.ShooterMcgavin wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 11:32 amThey couldn’t keep Fort because of the open weeks they both had didn’t match up but I heard the season 2024 will start a long series between the 2 programsMeigsCountySchools wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 3:48 am I don't think Nelsonville-York will be that much better than the rest of the Ohio. NYs league to lose VC always plays NY tough so I wouldn't sleep on VC . Alex will be at the bottom and the rest will battle for the mid pack spotsGray Cat wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 11:06 am Let's get this started. We all know the heavy favorite to win the Hocking is Trimble. Who will fight it out for second place this year?
How about the Ohio. Will NY take it again?
Will the overall TVC Championship game be in week 1 again between Trimble and NY?
Thoughts?

TVC Rankings
Rough start this year.
How do you rank them combing both leagues?
my guess
1. NY
2. Trimble
3. Athens
4. Eastern
5. Waterford (top 5 can go anyway)
6. Vinton County
7. Meigs
8. River Valley
9. Southern
10. Alexander
11. Wellston
12. South Gallia
13. Belpre

Re: TVC Rankings
After seeing NY scrimmage Logan, play Trimble and the NC score I still think NY is still the team to beat in the TVC. If Athens can put a better defense out on the field, they could be the best. It would shock me if NY or Athens win their division and have two in the L column just in their division. Look for Trimble to go undefeated in their division. The TVC looks down this year so look for teams to win some that looked like the opposite. If NY or Athens lose their QB it is all over.
