Area Gas Prices?

Yesterday was not a good day for the oil industry. Oil fell 1.90 a barrel to 70.61 and wholesale gasoline closed at 1.7831 down -0.1120 a gallon. This is the biggest drop in gas prices since Hurricane Katrina last year. Now if we could get the supplier here to start dropping the prices. 2.77 in Ironton.

Oil dropped below 70 dollars for the first time in a long time. Oil closed at 69.71 down .90 a barrel. Wholesale gasoline was up a little to 1.7892 up +0.0061 a gallon. Retail in Ironton was 2.72.

Oil was down to 68.50 at one point yesterday but then someone started a rumor that Iran wasn't going to accept the UN resolution on their Atomic program, as if anyone thought they would, and the price jumped back to 70.03 up .32 a barrel. Wholesale gasoline went to 1.8019 up +0.0127 Retail gas in Ironton is 2.72 and in Ashland Ky its 2.61

$2.65 this morning on North 2nd Street in Ironton. I'll be in Ashland, Ky. here in a few minutes. Should be even cheaper there. We'll see I guess.

Oil was up a little yesterday to 70.26 up 23 cents a barrel. Wholesale gas dropped to 1.7504 down -0.0515....I see where inventories of both oil and gas are very high.

Oil down yesterday to 69.19 down 1.07 a barrel. No price given on wholesale gasoline, isn't that unusual.
