02.....It's not bothering you to check this thread for new posts with insight and hear about my 1st year of flag football is it? If it makes you feel better we were the Browns....and our record showed it!

haha...I think I heard you scream when Fitzgerald went about 70 yards for the TD to put the Cards up 23-20. Sad thing is, I knew that Pittsburgh would come back to win. You see, they tend to come up big at the end of games unlike my Browns who find every possible way to lose. I'm sure the flag football version of the Browns was more clutch than the real Browns.

By the way, I really want to know if this Randy Beckman has actually applied for the job. His name is mentioned every now and then, but no one will elaborate on his credentials.

Also, Mr. Kight is a great man. I lived next door to him for about half my life and he's one of the nicest people I have ever known. He has contributed a lot to Jackson City Schools and he's doing a great job as the AD. I'm very glad that he has stepped into that role within the Athletic Dept.

Randy is my cousins former college roomate. He is a mysterious guy. Often, it is like he doesn\'t even exist. He never talks about what his goals or plans are, but my cousin has said that he has always wanted to coach in our region. My cousin has not talked to him in a few weeks, but is under the impression that he wants that job pretty bad. I also hear that this will mean some real studs transferring to JHS just to play for him!

So where has Beckman coached and how successful was he? Do you know anything about the type of offense or defense he would like to run?

Randy uses his own style on offense. He is like a video game! I guess you can relate it mostly to the spread. Rich Rodriguez runs some of the plays in which Randy Beckman developed ! He likes to run a 3-4 on D and blitzes on virtually every play.

I feel like I should sign up for the Bob Kight fan club! Heck! maybe he should apply? Or even better he could be football coach, superintendant, principal, asst. principal and A.D. we could save alot of money and quiet the talk of a school levy! Seriously, Mr. Kight is a quality person, just comes off a little like Clint Eastwood.

I think Mr. Kight should be the superintendant (guy in there now not very good) I gurantee this process would be going along allot better then it is. For a football school they are in no rush to get the guy in here and form some relationship with the kids, it takes more than just knowing your x and o's. The kids have to want to play for you!!

That information is inaccurate. The state title years are wrong. After I realized that, I disregarded everything else.

I bet I can guess one person on here that won't vote for the levy. Not going to name names. I wonder if they will hire this school board meeting?

I played for Downs at VC and hes not the coach for Jackson. He doesnt believe in 2 a days. He does not have a lifting program we had to go in there ourselfs and workout. Us players had to run the team that year because he didnt want anything to do with it. Not a good pick on Jacksons half i would like to see a better coach in the program.

Does anyone know when the interview process will begin? I know Phil Howard gets on here every once in a while, maybe he can enlighten the group.
