Wellston Job
Re: Wellston Job
Boiler...i'll let you keep score! lol I whipped up on my wife and a few friends at put put golf yesterday! haha..so Im ready to go!
As for the coaching situation...Queen will make a GREAT coach for the players that Wellston currently has. Queen knows how to impliment the RUN RUN RUN offense and Wellston may have the best players in the TVC for that style. Queen did a great job with VC in the 90's. He had one bad season and was let go too soon...VC has only 2 winning season since he left. It would be weird to see him in Blue shorts though...lol

A friend i work with lives beside matt queen.he told me the school board and ad had another meeting with him last night, and from what matt told him its not looking good for him as head coach.
Re: Wellston Job
They need to hire Cris Hutchinson, He'll have his teaching degree this summer and its not about money to him he just wants a chance to coach! Give it to him, the players respect him and he works hard at what he does, between going to classes and trying to run the weightroom with "Coop"! Hes been in this program since '97 and he has played college ball at both d1 and a d1aa school! Hire him and end this before you get it in over your heads!

Re: Wellston Job
I hope to have some info soon . This needs to be resolved this week or they might as well do away with football and start a soccer program.I heard those guys will coach for almost nothing .

Re: Wellston Job
The _Big_One, never thought about him! He would be good fit, last Qb to beat Jackson! But i still wish they would give coach Hutchinson a chance!
Re: Wellston Job
trust me Jeff Hendershott isn't interested in being head football coach. he is perfectly happy being the AD.

No, that's Jeff's uncle Pat Hendershott. Jeff was a great football player and baseball player back in the late 80's. I don't see him be remotely interested in the football job. Even heard rumor he might be taking another administrative job within the system.
Does anyone have any good idea if they will get the coach hire in the coming week?
