Stanley Cup Finals...

Boston vs Vancouver

Talk about a east coast/west coast matchup. Time to rack up those frequent flyer miles.

8-1 Bruins. Absolute fun game to watch minus the hit on Horton, hopefully he can come back next year healthy cause there is no way he'll be back by the end of the series.

Glad to see Rome tossed for the rest of the Finals.

Right now its as simple as Will beating Skill we just seem to want it more than Vancouver at this point.

And as gahs said Bobby Orr waving the Horton flag left me speechless and almost brought a tear to my eye.

Bad night, that scumbag Lapierre scores the deciding goal. Thomas has been oustanding all series IMO we should have had a sweep already we gave them their first two wins of the series and tonight was a even game. Back to Boston where we'll give it to em again then back out to ugly Vancouver for Game 7.

Does anyone else feel that Hockey is making a comeback in popularity in the States? I don't know it just feels that way

The reason I say we should have swept is that Vancouver scored both game winning goals off of our turnovers, now this may not be justifying but I had a feeling in game 1 that if it went to OT we had the game in the bag once again not the best way to justify. Game 2 we had a 2-1 lead in the 3rd and lost.

Maybe I shouldn't have said 'should' in reference to the sweep maybe 'could' would've worked better as I felt we outplayed them easily in the first 2 games.

Unless the Networks are able and willing to show more Hockey on TV, then the NHL will remain in 4th place.....Versus is killing the NHL cause not that many people have it.

I hope Luongo keeps poking the bear. Dumb@$$. Who calls out the opposing goalie when Thomas has given up 8 goals for the series while Luongo gave up 8 goals in G3 alone.

One more game to go for everything that matters. Gonna be one helluva ride.

I can't imagine what its like to be a player because I have no words to describe the feelings I have right now, totally speechless.

I'm so glad it was Bergeron who had a big game with 2 goals. Only a goal from Mark Recchi could have made this game any sweeter.

I'm a (very) casual hockey fan but that may have to change. What an exciting series and with my softness for (most) Boston teams, I am hooked. I'll be checking out Versus next fall for listings. I've actually been to a Bruins game in Boston about three years ago. Great atmosphere. Love the logo!
