As far as the lack of passing, don't forget our O line gave up 4 sacks. Can't keep dropping back a freshman QB and take the chance of getting him hurt.
Re: Week 7: OSU @ ILLINOIS
I don't think Miller could plant his foot with the ankle. He ran a couple of times first drive and I beleive the coaching staff said we have to make sure he finishes the game.No turnovers and a win, I'll take it.Pass to Stoneburner sure was pretty though. It had to be a real insult to Illini that they knew OSU were going to run the ball and still could not stop it.Two weeks to get better,I'm really curious to see what coaches come up with.Don't care what people say,Fickell stiill deserves a two year contract and people he wants.JT first year 7-5, John Cooper 4-6-1 and they turned out alright.Their's no one in the country that could have stepped into that mess and done any better and by the way I don't think that's the last you'll hear of the BUCKS.

The Zooker strikes again.
I mean, how do you lose at home to a team that completed one pass? Only Zook.

Re: Week 7: OSU @ ILLINOIS
I'm very happy to see the Buckeyes get out of Champaign with a win.......proud of the way the defense bottled up the Illini offense.
1 completion in 4 attempts for the game is an aberration for Ohio State.......I'm quite sure we'll see more of the passing game vs. Wisconsin and the rest of the season.
Ohio State has had 1 bad half of defense in 3 Big Ten games.........I look for a good defensive effort vs. Wisconsin, and I think a W vs. the Badgers is possible if the O can score 24-27 points........but they will have to make some successful pass plays.......1 completion won't get it done against a tough UW team.
GO BUCKEYES!!

OSU called between 13 and 15 pass plays.
Between sacks, and check down runs, we didn't throw the ball when called for.

Pitiful, just pitiful. 1 pass completion, qb turning the wrong way to hand off to rb, qb running into running backs... only reason they won this game is because Illinois is just as bad. PITIFUL I say.
Who the heck had they played that they were undefeated?

WVU getting pounded by Syracuse is what is pitiful. A team Toledo beat!

Actually Syracuse beat Toledo. I think it was in overtime if I remember correctly. Not really that it has much to do with last nights game. But WVU played very poorly last night. I expected the score to be opposite

Syracuse gets credited for winning the game against Toledo, but Toledo won!
Big East had to apologize for the idiocy of their ref crew!

My bad. I didn't know any of the additional details. I just remembered when they played that Syracuse had won because I was pullin for Toledo.
Re: Week 7: OSU @ ILLINOIS
Syracuse missed an extra point that would have won it for Toledo and the officials ruled it good and when they watched it on replay still ruled it good when it clearly missed, what a joke and black eye for college football that game was
