Going to try your Brooklyn Manhattan Transit (BMT) sub here directly Bolt. Hope she's good.
The acronym BMT stands for Biggest, Meatiest, and Tastiest. In the early days of SUBWAY® restaurants, it was a promotion that was based on the Brooklyn Manhattan Transit system in New York City that went along with the subway theme.

Never had Veal before Paladin. How is it? That dinner sounded like a good one. White wine or red?

Re: What's for Supper?
I had a red... a Merlot. Not supposed to do that with veal, but hey, I like Merlot. The Veal is CALF and has a mild favor cooked in the white wine with sliced sweet peppers ( red, yellow, orange) and a whole hot pepper, lots of sliced onions, scallions and mushrooms. They make their own salad dressing ( only raspberry vinagrette or italian) and bake thier own crusty bread. Its a specialty at Vernon's Cafe, one of my favorite restaurants in Niles. Best I've had anywhere.

Sounds good with all them peppers and onions cooked with it. Like to try some of that raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing. Big ole salad sounds good right now with chunks of chicken and cheese.Paladin wrote:I had a red... a Merlot. Not supposed to do that with veal, but hey, I like Merlot.
