Looks like it's going to be another SOC match up. One question though, How do we both have a home playoff game?

Just wondering when the last time was, if ever, that the SOC II had 4 teams at 8-2?

^^^^You need to look at the max points column. Once all of the scores are in the Burg will move ahead of NY into 3rd, and Minford will be 4th. Burg will host the Wood, and Minford will host NY.

Burg and Minford will be hosting.

Burg will be playing Ridgewood and Minford will be playing Nelsonville York

I believe Burg played them a while back and beat them at home in the playoffs. I think it was 2007 and the Burg won 21-13 if I remember correctly.
That's correct 77 burg beat ridgewood 21-13 in 07. Joe Eitel has been updated again and as of right now burg will be hostin monroe centrel who they beat last yr in a shootout 52-42 and the falcons will be hosting nelsonville york

Ridgewood wil jump them to 6th. 2 teams they have beaten play tonight so they will get those points regardless and that will put them at 6th.

Great effort last night West. Absolutely played their hearts out and never quit. It would have been easy to fold down 10 and the burg inside the 1, but West held and fought back to within 3. That would have never happened 5 years ago. Fact. We would've folded and got beat by 20. That was a great experience for those kids, especially considering we started mostly underclassmen last night. Learn from this and go beat Sparta Highland next week.

Been trying to find some stuff on them. They haven't beaten anyone. They are small. Got waxed at ironton last year and the videos I saw on Irontonfootball.com were not impressive. My guess if West regroups and has a great week of practice, we win handily.

Good luck to both Burg and West next weekend.

I think Burg is playing really well right now and West is just a very determined football that keeps grinding away despite alot of injuries.

I would love to see both teams get through round 1 next week and I think both will do just that.

Just dont go in thinking that Highland is a small team that shouldnt be in the playoffs. Same for Ridgewood.

Last year Ridgewood barely made the playoffs at 10-0 and not only put it all over us at Minford, but won the region. Any team can win or get beat in the playoffs.

I am sure Triplett will have West ready.

Old lines win championships, that's what scared me about burg this year coming in, and that theory held true

you know what I mean. Years ago we played hard until bad things started happening and then we quit. I saw no quit last night.

West flat out and knocked Burg in the mouth. 14 - 3, Burg punted and it looked like basketballs bouncing, but Burg stood ground, held West, and started to play. The difference in the game was composure. Burg's seniors kept cool, while the young senators without two of their best players, seniors, kind of lost focus. This is when Burg capitalized and took the game back. West never gave up fighting but this game was won by experience. Great Game. Good Luck West.

GO BURG!!!!!
