Zanesville was in the OVAC and still is i believe they just don't play enuff OVAC opponent's to qualifiy for that championship. As for Zanesville leaving the SEOAL any time soon i doubt that. They need too get in league that better suite's us for travel the ECOL would be great they want no parts of us the MVL is too small division wise that's what hurts Tri Valley and that leaves going back to playing an independent scheldule which might be the best i know coach Aronhalt would rather play the best teams in the state than have 30 or 40 point blowouts in the SEOAL.

The MVL being small isn't the problem anymore. It may have use to be but not now. We have our own D-1 school also that is about 10 boys smaller than Zanesville. But, those go the numbers. When i think of Zanesville i still think of a huge school. Zanesville is borderline D-2, which is what the MVL mainly is(with the exceptio of Crooksville & New Lex). But other than in boys basketball, Zanesville wouldn't dominate the other sports, boys or girls. Personally, I would love the MVL to invite the Blue Devils in, but, i just don't see it happening anytime soon. Which is to bad imo.
