I was wondering how in the world you knew how many shots had been taken by each. I still think Horsley deserves POY. I know that Eastern and Notre Dame have some very good players, so how do you single out just one. I saw both Eastern and Notre Dame and I don't remember anyone that stood out like Horsley.

Taking 18 shots a game is not a negative thing if he's making 9 of them. FG shooting percentage is the most important stat. Ive always said that the more shots you take (and make) the more defensive attention you will attract making it harder and harder to score every game. Players who can take a large number of shots, with defenses game-planning to stop you and still shoot around the 50% mark are incredible players.

Horsley has my vote, best player I've seen play this year. He doesn't score in bunches just scores consistently throughout the game. Good Player....

Is this official? If so, congratulations to both Lands and Horsley! I thought Horsley deserved it and I am glad that he did recieve the honor. As far as Lands goes, I don't really remember anyone from Eastern that stood out, however he must hve deserved it! Great job!
