faster than tate, yates, and packard find that hard to believe but may be true, if so why does the boy always seem to SLOW down when about to make contact and end up on his back. Belpre need to fly to the ball like they know how this isnt baseball stop sliding to make a tackle wrap up and drive!!!

Oh ,but Ralph runs a 4.2 and when he lived in the swamps of Louisiana he ran down a Lynx tackled it and skinned it in under a minute. This kid is faster than Usain Bolt.

Good one boilermaker!
I think Wellston will soar through the wings of the Belpre Eagle's defense to make it a score of 20-14.

Boilermaker.....Do you have Ryan Darnell's defensive stats from the N-Y game? He is our (Times-Journal) Wellston boy athlete of the week based on his performance in that game.

Boilermaker.....Thanks much for the stats. You have a PM as well. Talk to you soon.
Re: WK 5 (0-4) Wellston @ (2-2) Belpre
I really hope Wellston wins this week. Granted, traveling to Belpre is always a tough road trip for any team. I just feel they are probably the best 0-4 team in SE Ohio and Coach Mantell and the kids have handled those losses as good as a group could. Very classy bunch.
Wellston has all the tools to win and win now. Plus, their non league schedule has been brutal to say the least.
This week we ought to find out how much of Wellston losses are due to playing really tough competition or whether they just need more time to develop. Either way, I think they should turn the corner pretty soon. If I was any other TVC Ohio team, I don't think I'd take this bunch lightly at all.
Good luck to both teams.

I have a gut feeling Wellston comes out and plays one heck of a game. I think they pull away and win by two touch downs, and then they just might run the table. Good Luck Wellston!!!
