Green may be small..but they do have heart!! These kids are used to the situation they face. They've been dealing with it each year they've played. When they have a 'stand out'...it doesnt take long for that kid to transfer to Ironton or Wheelersburg. However, that only seems to fuel the other kids. They are some of the best you'll have the pleasure to know and some of the comments are dead on...they play 110% right down to the last second.

If Symmes Valley beat Southern convincingly, how can you not take Green in this game? Symmes Valley is probably better than the Bobcats, but not by much....

you say the lost 27 to 6?....man you forget grove probly put their jv in the whole second half, you have to count that as a factor, i dont know cause i wasnt at that game, but i asume thats what happened. as for southern vs. green im going to have to take southern by a td or a late feild goal, they do have home feild advantage. i hear green boys play a hard game, i also hear southern boys play hard game. but when it all comes down to it, its got to be the stand outs that make southern have a slight advantage. i know the jenkins kid from southern has quite a few yards in the bag and ive seen him run, personally he is one fast kid, also has quite a few yac yards to. Several years back Green had the Castro kid at fullback (we called him Fidel in coaches' meetings, yuk-yuk) and some other players. I liked watching Castro run the ball.

That guy was a beast. I think my Senior year though he only ran the ball one maybe two times and then got a shot put on him by one of our linebackers and he didnt play the rest of the game.

Southern might win it by a TD but unless they got a new kicker, I dont see them winning it by a field goal.

I think southern has the right kids in the right spots on offense. Michael Manuel as the half back. Greg in the slot and sean coppick as full back. What a back field. Lots of speed and strength. They will be hard to stop. Non of these kids were abused
