I'm not a "spectator", I do however plan to watch my grandchildren come through the West school system. What I don't want to see is a basketball team up 25 points with 1:00 left to play shooting threes, a visiting cheerleading squad chanting "this is our turf" across the field to a losing team, and I darn sure don't want to see a first string QB throwing deep late in a blowout! As far as SP's team, they only had like 24 kids dressed to play including Freshmen, according to the assistant coach who came up by us. I will always back West athletics, but I also will call out a bad choice when I see it. You wouldn't want my Jr. High girl kicking your 5th grade boy's butt around school all day, would you?
I never said that you took shots at anyone. I do know that whatever coaches do they have reasons for doing it.
The Jr. High analogy is stupid. They are a Varsity team who should be able to take care of themselves, so the players are playing at the same level of competition,Varsity, they are just not as good.I have heard that the contract with South Point is up, thats good. My guess was that the coaches wanted to work on their short passing gamw and Levi saw the opportunity to go deep. Now tell me if you were a QB and saw the deep route open, would't you throw it deep.
