1987, I would venture to say that ALL parents with a hidden agenda do not know what to teach the "team". Coaches in the LYBA that do not actually teach the game seem to be filtered out after a season or two. That is a good thing, after all these kids are the future of the program. The LYBA is doing a good job, especially with the addition of the travel teams.

Chesapeake's isn't run by the school and they have the best buddy league in the area, jmo.

Purpleblood1 what does Chesapeake do that is so good? I think all of us not familiar with them would like to know.

if you really pay attention, those dads that have an agenda usually end up ruining their kids chances of becoming a ball player by the time they get into the 7th grade.... 8)

The Hocking Valley League is a great league. My niece plays for NY and traveling to other schools is a great thing. LYBA and Bobcats in Logan are both great programs and I know I am glad to see NY in that league with them.
