Other than that, google the Army rank structure and have it down pat before arriving. It may save you from a few extra pushups

Thats a good idea!!!

all my life I've been obsessed with the marine corps. Well, I studied their history, rank structure and all that so I'm so used to seeing 3 chevrons and two rockers and thinking "gunnery sergeant". Other than the 1st/master and the gysgt/SFC thing, I've got most of that down. The more important (i assume) one I have down is officer!

Idk if it is just with the recruiters, but I'm used to seeing enlisted and adressing them as "rank, last name", but it seems as if army refers to ALL sergeants as just sergeant. Maybe it was just an informal setting, but it was very surprising. Might just be me.

I'm very excited tho. I am just having a hard time finding room for consistent PT. A

Good luck. I did BCT at Leonard Wood, Oct. 2003. Had a blast! BRAVO 3/10!

Bravo 13-4 at Knox in 1977. Misery, Agony and Heart Ache, I believe were the names of those hills.

Some of the best times of my life were the 7 years I spent in the Army, some of the scariest too.
