Actually his 14.40 is 7th fastest time in D-1. "Moody of Lakeview is D-2. Unfortunatley 7 of the top 12 times in the state are coming to Region 3.

I'm unclear how OHSAA decides to send schools like Sandusky, Freemnont Ross, and Lexington into Columbus. Those schools are only 45 min to an hour from Regional being held in Toledo area.

Its all about what's best for the columbus schools so they can get the most kids to the state. Its like that in every sport.

If you are from the southeastern corner of the state (Washington County) you will always have your back against the wall when it comes to athletics. It is all about the "Big Boys" not what is best for ALL involved.

Congratulations to Seth Sigler & Jon Neff of Logan. Seth finished in 3rd place and Jon Neff finished in 4th place. Both have advanced to the State Meet next week. Great Job guys, you should be proud. Good luck next week, all of South Eastern Ohio will be rooting for you both.

Chillicothe's Issac Beverly goes to the State with a win in the Open 400 at the D2 Regional. Also, the 4x400 team got third to move on to State next week. Congrats to these young men.

Beverly may very well get the a school record and possible a league best in qualifying Friday at State in the open 4. I can see him going in the high 48 range. The 4x400 team ran a 3:26.06. Not sure where that stacks up. I fully expect them to get close or better then that in qualifying as well. Three sophmores and a senior. If they stay together over the next two years, they can go 3:23 or so.

I spoke with Beverly tonight and he is very humble about what is before him. He has an awesome task in front of him, but I don't see the competition or nerves bothering him. He will just run his race. The same goes for the 4x400 team as well.

GO CAVS!!!!
