Re: Undefeated Jr. High Boys and Girls Teams
The Unioto 7th grade girls and boys teams remain undefeated after winning over Piketon last night.
I believe the boys score after a very exciting fast paced game was Unioto 42, Piketon 37 and the girls score was Unioto 32, Piketon 24.
GO TANKS!!

I would like to mention Rock Hill's 7th. grade boys they are 6-o right now but they are also still adding wins to a record that reflects how hard these boys have work for the past 4 years ( 106 WINS and only 6 losses ) I have never heard of a record any better than that , AND I'AM VERY VERY PROUD OF THESE YOUNG REDMEN !!!!!!!!!!! JUST KEEP PLAYING HARD AND KEEP PLAYING TOGETHER

Re: Undefeated Jr. High Boys and Girls Teams
Westerns Junior high improved to 6-0 this year. Havent been challenged yet. Hard to believe anyone is better than them at this level in this area. Shanks would be the jv's starting point.

80 - 3?? Want is the play by play on this? I know the Jackson team is tough, hopefully is that happened while the coach did not have his starters in and was slowing the ball down, that is almost as bad as the high school team that scored 100 on that team in Texas I think..But I don't want to say anything casue I had a situation like that, in 6th grade level, we were not trying to score, but the other team threw our girls the ball and some of the girls naturally went to the bucket with me yelling to slow it down and hold it up..so what is the story before we throw stones....

The 80 to 3 is correct.
I'm getting ready to post the story.
I sincerely hope no Jackson fans were proud of that.

sprinter14 WORK ON YOU BB PROGRAM. SOUNDS LIKE SOUR GRAPES. THE GIRLS COULD HAVE WON 125 TO 0. FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND.

Re: Undefeated Jr. High Boys and Girls Teams
Yeah, they could have scored 125, but the clock stopped them.
And how is what I said "sour grapes"?? I said they were favored by 60!
We went in to that game expecting to get beat bad.

Re: Undefeated Jr. High Boys and Girls Teams
Burg 7th and 8th boys both stayed undefeated last night (3rd game this week) with wins over Waverly. Both games were very lopsided from the beginning with Burg up by 15+ in the first qtr of each game. I believe the final margin of each game was 25-30. This is the half way point of the season, so now that play each team they have beaten again.
GO BURG!!!

Nelsonville-York 8th grade girls are 9-0. 7th grade is 7-2. I know this is a junior high thread, but just wanted to mention that the 6th grade has lost only 1 game, and the 5th and 4th grade are undefeated. Future looks bright!
