I don't see Meigs being too far behind Athens.
With a little bad luck by Athens and Some good luck with Meigs they just might over take the Bulldogs

your right about athens winning the tvc and smith with high point athens just has to many people for any other school to hang with. they win with numbers and i hate it for my team (meigs) because we worked our butts off to be tvc champs and the year that we do athens comes in and just dominates and we get second. Athens wins with numbers and i see meigs in second again this year

This year Athens does not even care that much about TVC, I've heard that they have several big meets. They are more focus on harder D1 competition. This year Athens will have one of the strongest teams in a long time. And the numbers are not that much greater then any other school around, they just run several people in numerous events. I see these kids work very hard every day after school when i see them run by my house. It's not like they just get it...they earn it.

Athens might want to watch out for some of the big meets.

They went down to Parkersburg last year and finished way down the list and lost to Logan ,which won the meet, by more than a 100 points. Logan will even be better this year.

They might be in two or three meets with Logan this year.

Oh, I thought Golden boy said that he was running i have seen the smith kid run and have heard alot about the prater kid running in Vinton County Middle school. That would be a great race to watch the 100m and 200m in.......
