While at GAHS, John scored 1123 points in two seasons (54-56), a two year school record.
He still has the SEOAL record for most points in league play for a single season (446) and most points in one league game (63 vs Logan on 1/24/56.
He also owns school records for most points in a single season (715), most rebounds in a single season (473) and most rebounds in a single game (31 vs Jackson on 1/13/56).
In the 55-56 season he was 207/245 from the free throw line; both school records. He also has the school record for most FG in one game (24) and most FT in one game (23).
He earned a scholarship to Marshall University where he enjoyed a HOF career for the Thundering Herd. I'll find his career stats later.
Inducted Marshall University HOF in 1986. Inducted into Ohio Golf Coaches HOF in 1983. Now retired, Mr Milhoan, 71, still substitute teaches at GAHS, and if you've ever attended a Blue Devil basketball home game, he probably sold you your ticket.
In 1960 he was a 13th round pick of the Cincinnati Royals of the NBA.
Prob not worth Mentioning he also Substitutes in the County Schools and the kids really enjoy his numerous stories.
