Which BOTH communtities (sic) ? Valley and Oak Hill ?

I thought 85I mentioned 4 non-SOC schools in his 1st post.... but now we're down to TWO ?

Valley Vs. Jackson
Portsmouth vs. Burg
Ironton vs. Waverly
Oak Hill vs. Chillicothe

Don't cha know that 85I only started this thread to "stir the pot" ?? He figured all the SOC followers would say.... HELL NO !!... because he figured they would all be skeered of his Tiggers. Talk about ARROGANCE !! (And I don't want to hear anything from the TIGGER fans because I85 referred to Ashland as the TomKITTENS on here just a few days ago). If ya can't take it, don't put it out.

Yea, thats why the Tomkittens are about 2-10 in their last 12 against ironton. The 16th region being so tough, is why only Ashland remains on the schedule and they only agree to play ironton once per year. It was great great back in the 60's and 70's when they had good teams over there. they always wanted to play ironton twice a year. Now none of them come around any more. Even Russell has dropped after being thoroughly dominated the past 5 seasons!

Way to go 85I. Proud of ya.

I talked to IMABIGGN and he is for this league

i don't know of any arrogant members! i was referring to your comment about the arrogance of one current member. i thought you were referring to that soc2 school down river(burg) as being arrogant. my mistake for assuming. i personally don't think they're arrogant, i think the school system is absolutely fantastic! they are very good in all sports and their academics are second to none! if you were you referring to an seoal member, my mistake again! why don't you just say who that arrogant current member is.

You are correct about the Burg. They are an excellent school system and their sports program is second to none. They have good reason to be arrogant.

I would not mind to see portsmouth in the conference. They are the only scioto county school not in the soc. Its not like they are a division 1 school anymore or AAA or whatever.

That is a good word for it. I know I enjoy having the Fighting Tigers compete against them in every sport. It makes Ironton better to compete against good competition. Anyone will tell you that if you beat Wheelersburg in football or basketball you have accomplished alot.

I really would like to Piketon put into this somehow. It only makes sense for them to be in the SOC

I think Piketon would be a great fit for the SOC.

Do you really think they would let Portsmouth & Ironton in?

I really like the SEOAL, there is no cupcakes in any sport. But since the decision has been made for Ironton to exit, then the SOC sounds great! If not SOC, then Ironton should really try very hard to get in a league! I really don't see Ironton in a league.
