We've waited 15 years to see the Reds get to the playoffs, and they get no-hit. Cincinnati fans just can't get a break..

even if the phils take the reds out of the playoffs its still a great season for the reds. and if any reds fan speaks badly of them for what they have done this year they should be smacked in the mouth and sent to pittsburg!!! lol

Always cool to watch a piec of history on TV...Not so cool when the team you are pulling for is on the recieving end of pure domination. OUCH!!!!! Congrats to Doc...But the Reds need to step their game up or this will be a short post season for them. Big Roy killed them.. They still have Lil Roy and Cole...Doesn't look good for them but I am always hopeful. Just glad to see them in the post season and to know they are so young and getting this quality experience is always good. Go Reds!!!!!

The Reds were like a Deer caught in the headlights last night. Great pitching by Doc, there aint much you can do when you hit it right at'em.

Re: Cincinnati vs. Philadelphia
Reds will need to be a little more patient at the plate, but like me and a buddy of mine were talking, the umpire the other night didn't allow them to do that with some of those pitches he called for strikes were not strikes and caused the Reds to have to swing at some bad pitches.
Not taking anything away from Halladay, he pitched a great game, but in watching the pitch tracker that TBS had there were about 10-12 pitches that were called strikes that according to that thing were not strikes. This caused the Reds to not be able to let borderline pitches go by. If anyone doesn't think that can't change a ball game has not really watched alot of baseball.
They kept comparing him to Greg Maddux and all I kept saying was that he sure was getting the calls that Maddux used to get on the corners. I forget what college this guy went to, but he did a study on Greg Maddux and the calls he got during the season and he went and analyzed every pitch that Maddux threw in one season and it was astonishing how many calls he got for strikes that were 3-5 inches off the plate.
If the Reds can win tonight, I think the Phils will be a little concerned. The Reds are very tough at home

They better switch over to the FIGHTING TIGERS!!!

*cough* *cough* CHOKE *cough* *cough* Nothing like watching the Reds piss down their legs tonight. They GAVE Philadelphia 6 runs. Phillips had the worst defensive game of his career and Rolen wasn't much better. Unreal.*
Re: Cincinnati vs. Philadelphia
yeah, they really stunk it up. I noticed the first game that most of the young kids were just wide eyed. youth is showing thru.
